We booked a one way through Royal Caribbean in 2017, we looked at what flights were available and told them what we wanted as they can offer you flights that go on a longer route but if you know what flights you want you can tell them then phoned and it was a reasonable price but you have to wait till the flights come out.Our journey was from Glasgow to Newark then Newark to Fort Lauderdale with luggage with United and it was £674 for both of us. This year I phoned and their price again was reasonable but I had some avios and managed to get a cheaper flight from Gla to Lhr then Lhr to Mia with luggage for £600 for us both.

Hi we went on a Transatlantic in 2017 on Independence.We travelled from Glasgow to Newark then on to Fort Lauderdale with United for £674 including luggage for both of us.We phoned RC as soon as the flights came out at about 11mths.I thought it was a great price. This year we had airmiles as sometimes I do online surveys and had enough to get flights from Glasgow to Lhr then to Miami for both of us with luggage with BA for £600 plus I think it was 11000 airmiles.If you could get some airmiles by using their credit card with an offer or maybe if a family member had some spare.I transfered some hotel loyalty points and Sainsburys to get BA avios. You'd have to be quick to get the BA reward flights as soon as they come out.I booked mine on 25/05/23.It has to be BA flights not partner flights to get the best price.Hope this us of some help to you.Enjoy your trip and Indie.

Thank you Edinburgher and Zana 711 for your very helpful replies. My husband has Parkinsons and thought a hoho would have been easier for him as sometimes his mobility isn't so good. I really want to see the Arts and Science area as I had seen it on tv. Its funny when I have seen it I thought for some reason it would be in the city near the beach 🤦🏻‍♀️.We will get either the bus or a taxi to there and see how we get on for time to visit the beach or the old town. Could you tell me when you are coming off the ship at the port do you go into a terminal suitable for a wheelchair or is it just like a gangplank you walk off. Hi,has anyone used this company going to the airport.Price is reasonable but I haven't used them myself.

If there is a big difference in price and you don't mind where the cabin is I think it is.We booked a guarantee ceanview balcony on Oasis of the seas and were just assigned cabin 10186 which is fine but it is a connecting room.We have also had a cabin on Independance on deck 7 near everything and the lifts but you may end up with a cabin that is a long way from the lifts with a bad view.If you don't mind were you are as long as your on the ship and it's saving money its fine.

Hi we were there a few years ago and you can walk into town.Its not far.About 20 mins into the main area.If you google the cruise port you can see the route.Have fun.

I really just wanted to know if there would be anyone in the lounge at breakfast or when going for a coffee that I would tip so that I didn't turn up empty handed.I had already read lots of discussions on tipping when using a drinks voucher but not at breakfast or having a coffee.Thanks again for your helpful information.

Hi, this is our first cruise as diamond and wondered when you go to the lounge for coffee and snacks or breakfast is it self service or is there someone serving.I know when you use you voucher for a drink it is polite to give your server a tip.Just want to know what we need to do and don't get it wrong.Also can you go in for late night coffee as I read it is nicer that the usual coffee you get.Is the Oasis viking lounge a nice area to use.
