  1. Be careful of the Royal Caribbean Prime Day Sale I checked it out. Seems like a bait and switch to me. (IMOj their ad reads buy one deluxe beverage (small print shows a price of $49) get the second one for 50% off! Generally if I go online to .target, or Amazon or... I could buy something for $49 and then the second item would be $24.50. However on Royal Caribbean, This is NOT a buy one at $49 and buy the second one at $24.50 plus the 18% tip for a total of of approx $616 for a seven day cruise. No Their charge of ($49 *2)*1.18) *7= $809! I called them thinking it was a glitch in their computer system. No. Their answer is that the $49.00 is already discounted from their normal $63. Thus, both deluxe beverages are already on sale at a 25% discount thus together that equal a 50% discount. Wow, Don’t know who does their math there but here that doesn’t work in my business!
  2. Anyone ever have this cabin? Pros cons?
  3. Thanks will let Viv know that will make her DH happy
  4. Thanks we have May 5th and Mother’s Day and didn’t know if those would fall on formal night or not...looks like neither falls on those days
  5. Question We signed up for our first Transatlantic cruise with Royal Carribbean sailing next May looking to find out how many formal night they have and what days they have them scheduled. We are thinking of signing up for the Oasis of the Seas ( never been on A big ship) what days do they have they formal nights for their seven day cruises or do the big ships ship the formal nights? Thanks! ps friend of ours are taking the Norwegian ship Epic for a Mediterranean cruise this fall and want to know when their formal night are too. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! 😁
  6. My experience has been people discuss Different Port tours, what cabins location they should select, and meet and greet time and locations
  7. Suggest you Go to tripAdvisor.com for information on particular land location information
  8. Closest Gulf beach is about 40 minutes drive at.the Clearwater Beaches; although you can find a sand beach for Tampa Bay at the Ben T David Beach at 7740 Courtney Campbell Causeway only a about 20 minutes drive (12 miles) from the cruise ship location 612 Channelside
  9. Yes after we dock in Amsterdam, in the morning, we are thinking of taking a tour until our hotel room would be ready in the afternoon as we plan on staying there for a couple of days and not flying out immediately
  10. Another question once we dock in Amsterdam which is early in the morning and we sign up for a tour via CruiseLine what happens to our luggage during that tour? We have always just gone starlight home when reaching dock so this has issue has never arisen in the past. Hope someone has experience in this matter. Thanks!
  11. Thank you for providing the email address. I will be sending them an email tonight with our reservation number sailing dates and names and allergy restriction for DH.
  12. Are there any particular weekends that Drink Packages are sold at a discount? We cruised on A different CruiseLine in the last as it seemed that during US holiday weekend they would have BOGO deals for their drink packages ie buy one and the second one 50% off. Does Royal Carribbean have a similar policy or is it an unknown and something a customer has to keep checking every couple of days or so?
  13. Repositioning cruise menus? Anyone have information on the menus for the 15 days repositioning cruise from Tampa to Amsterdam? Taking one May 2020 DH is highly allergic to shellfish. Will this be an issue?
  14. Definitely depends on ship and deck location of your balconies. however having said that as we have been on various ships And CruiseLine’s, Some we have definitely heard our neighbors and others were so quiet we didn’t even know we had neighbors. Did you check on sites to see cabin reviews? If a concern, I wouldn’t want to be adjacent , better safe than to much information
