I am going to be on home hemo dialysis next year and am wondering if anyone has done a princess cruise with the NextStage machine for hemo dialysis?  How did you bring everytihing on ?  Was it in the Carribean or Europe. How did it go?

So the loungers in the sanctuary no longer are badded loungers ?? Wow...or did they just not add the pads yet?  It does seem like they added more people 

We have done overnight in a port before but not on embarkation day.  We will be sailing on the Emerald from Quebec to Boston beginning on 7/3/2024.  We will board as early as we can as elite in order to get the scantuary.   My question is after we board and get scantuary and drop bags in the room. Will we be able to get back off to go into Quebec?  I just wonder how it all works on embarkation day.  Anyone experience  this before ?  We do have the whole next day but want to see as much as we can ...

What a nice start to my weekend.  Received a call from my Princess Vacation Planner to tell me that my cruise to Canada/New England July 2024 the price had gone down.  Would I like her to refare it...YES please.  Saved us 500 bucks!!! And kept my 300 OBC too

I have always been happy with my planners service but I thought that was exceptional service...

Always check your cruise prices. You might save some $$$

Do you have a princess vacation planner?  If.not. call this number. 800 901 1172 and ask to be assigned one.  They know.how to.do refares.  

We have boarded in Barcelona before.  There is one line to drop off luggage and then go through security.  Then you go upstairs and wait to check in with Princess.  Once you check in with Princess show passports ect you will then be directed to priority area to wait to board.  Then you will go through another security and board with priority boarding.  We arrived at thr terminal about 10:30 am and we were on the ship about 11:30 - 11:45.

The only interesting one in 2024 is  Lisbon to BA , on Equinox, besides that they all same old ports and less days probably to pay out less OBC with SHC

Thanks for the response.   I should have been specific.  I am looking to go from the US to Barcelona in the spring.  I do agree the above cruise is great. We have actually done that itinerary  on Princess before.  

I saw the 2024 celebrity cruises going over stop in Bermuda that is interesting to me as I have never been there 

When does Celebrity release their 2025 transatlantic itinerary??  Interested in a cruise ending in Barcelona.   Saw the one I like for March 2024 but Interested in same one for 2025.

Has anyone does this excursion in Charlottetown PEI ?   Local Connections: The Seafood Chef ?  It is from Princess Cruise Lines.  It sounds fun but would like some freedback from anyone who did it.

We have now taken this excursion and it was horrible.  

1.  Bus was old with several broken seats

2.  We could not find seats by the pool and went to sit in some that we thought we free but we not when told said sorry . And then was threatened by a man to be thrown in the pool. 

Finally found seats but took over an hour.

3. Could not get a bartender to save our lives...had to walk over to the bar ever time we need a drink.

It was NOT exclusive...

Complained to princess...got 20 PP back of.our 80 dollars paid...

I would   not recommend this tour

As you are on now...how are the lines for dinner...we made reservations for 7:40. I hope that is late enough to not have a line for dinner

Anyone currently on the Emerald,  could you say which side of the ship is the DaVinci dining room reservation line ??

Just did this excursion last month and loved it.  It was the Marival Resort. They have 3 pools (adult, family and fun and games).  They will set up lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach if that is what you prefer.  They will come around and take drink orders (open bar) and the lunch buffet was huge and very good. Would do it again.

We were on the regal in a suite in November.   The lounge has alcohol drinks in the afternoon and yes they were free.  In addition if you have the package, the attendants will get you what ever drink you want.  On the regal. Each night we got a.card in our room telling us about events in the lounge.  We.loved it there.  They are so helpful.  Need anything,  go there to the concierge.

Nothing related to the port, but for the trip, the 5 south is boring but the fastest. The 99 is less boring but slower. Don't take the 1 coast route, may have landslides. Though this is by far the most scenic.

Feb. 16th is a Thursday, the busiest traffic day of the week. Think you're leaving early enough? Leave earlier. You'll be hitting downtown LA directly to connect to the 110 that takes you to San Pedro.

Thanks for the info. We are actually leaving SF on Tuesday 2/14  and staying in San Pedro for 2 nights. The cruise departs in the 16th.  Sorry I was not clear about that

We are scheduled to board on 2/16 for a Panama Canal 🇵🇦 cruise.  With all the CA rain and storms have there been any issues at the port ??  We are flying to.San Francisco for a few day prior and driving to San Pedro.  It appears our SF part may be rainy but want to ensure it is not effecting the poet.  Any local info on San Francisco or San Pedo would be helpful

Yes..an 11 day from Barcelona to Rome then a 15 day Rome to Ft. Lauderdale 

12/2...last update...after several days of no internet we got it back yesterday at around 4pm.  Overall the cruise was great. After 26 days on the ship I am ready to be home.  The staff of the Regal is amazing!! They could not do enough for us.  Only real problem was our last meal ar crown grill.  The staff was overwhelmed and in the weeds.  We had a reservation for 6:50.

Not seated until 7:15...another 15 minutes to get drinks. Ect.  Food was good but not one of our best meals on the ship.  

Still happy with Princess brand and cruises...next up Panama Canal in February..
