Anytime dining still shows no charge per the picture listed. If I had to pay for meals I'd go to another cruise line. When room service became a charge and all the other nickel and diming started I found land packages to be a better value.
They are queen size beds so I would think Queen size pillows or standard size. There are 4 pillows on the bed, 2 per side. I'm standard size since you use them to sit up in bed propped upon the headboard.
Until you board you can't be sure it's really the cabin number and not a random number can you? Let us know after you board if it was an accurate cabin number on your bar code.
I believe AARP would have been the one to discontinue the Princess Gift Cards not Princess. I say this because of all the problems AARP had loading the cards properly and the quantity of credit card disputes they had,
When someone asks for others to give an opinion they will get varying opinions and can take what they want from it. I absolutely loved Hong Hong and bought a fabulous pair of prescription glasses for peanuts.
The suggestion is made and the passenger still can reduce them at guest services. I personally don't prepay for service prior to receiving them. I also tend to reduce them to $10 PP PD which is what I believe trickles down to crew after RCI takes their admin fee and distributes across the entire fleet which includes countries that don't ask for gratuity.
Dealing with Princess customer service is so frustrating. They read from a script and barely understand anything that's not an everyday question. I dread having to call them. I was actually so angry with my interaction with them I booked my next cruise Nov 4 with RCL.
You should hopefully learned not to pay for services not yet rendered and evaluated such as gratuity. It wasn't required to be prepaid and is only a suggested amount so wait until the end of your cruise to decide what and how much you want to tip.
your homework is YOUR experience and my experience is MINE. I did not care for Japan it was boring. Apparently you didn't do any homework on my date because there are no cherry Blossoms in June. If I were to go to Asia again I liked Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cambodia and Viet Nam which had diversity and much more to enjoy.
I did a Japan cruisetour last June. The Diamond Princess was a lovely ship. Japan was boring because every port was so similar, go to a temple, see beautiful gardens REPEAT tomorrow.
The Royal are devices certificates and hard to use with so many restrictions I lost $40 to use it. It cannot be used for a deposit and then not used towards port fees or taxes. You must book directly with RCI then you can transfer to a TA. I won't buy them ever again.
When you bid up to s a suite they don't award the double points because you haven't paid full price. I'm thinking they might say you didn't pay for the extra night but I would ask because the worst they can say is no.
Bad information! I cruise frequently and do not use an app. I check in at the pier and prior to that I call and get everything done over the phone or online. Your muster station is on the back of your door and on your set sail pass online.
Here's what my set sail pass states
Your digital boarding passes are ready, get them in the app now
Using the app will improve your experience, but if you don't have a smartphone or cannot access the app, print this page and bring it with you to the terminal.
There is a special dept to get you ocean ready. When you call Princess somewhere on their menu is press ? to get ocean ready. I don't use their app so do this every cruise.
I only do reserve class because I prefer the dining experience and mid ship location. It's easy to get anywhere if you're mid ship. I dislike facing the wake or the bow.
