The main dining room procedures are changing for all cruises starting the week you cruise. You won't be able to make reservations until 6/17. With the new process there will be one dining room that will have the old early/late dining times, one that will take reservations, and one that will be walk in. I hope this helps!

I have had much better luck using the "web version" of the app that is in cruise personalizer on the Princess website. I have been able to do everything in there when nothing worked in the app. i don't plan to log into the app again until I get on the ship. Princess and HAL have cruised Alaska the longest so they tend to have the best itineraries and longest port stays.

Are you in 1 or 2 cabins? The first 2 in each cabin must have the same fare package. Plus is still a good deal if you are paying crew appreciation ($16-$18) and WIFI ($25). If you add a classic soda package ($18) you are at $59 and the Plus fare is $60. I hope this helps!

This section of your Travel Summary would be exactly the same if you had booked directly with Princess. Your Travel Agent is not "booking everything under the package seperately" so they are not "benefitting". This is just how Princess reflects the "value" of the items included in the package. I had the same problem when I tried to order our medallions on the app on my phone. We were able to order them with no problem using the "web version" of the app that is in cruise personalizer on the Princess website. There is no coffee only package. I've never had mini fridge items so I don't have that answer.

This map shows the sea day. Royal will be on the red line that is coming in from the left of Vancouver Island and then curves right to join the black line that the smaller ships take. You can see Ketchikan at the top of the map. The islands of Haida Gwaii that will be on the port side are referred to as "the Galapagos of the North in recognition of the unique assemblages of plants and animals found here". I hope this helps!

I actually did it by mistake. I was just trying to see if it would work and before I knew it I had made a reservation. I immediately cancelled it but I saw the charge hit my credit card and then I saw that it had been removed.

I couldn't make dining reservations in the app on my phone until I made my final payment but I was able to make them using the "web version" of the app that is in cruise personalizer on the Princess website before I made final payment. This is only my second Princess cruise and I am only in a balcony cabin so I shouldn't have been able to make my reservations but I did. Probably, another bug but it worked for me!

There isn't that big of a difference but if you can get starboard I would do it. You will have more land views. Especially if you are going farther north then Glacier Bay. I hope this helps!

Keep your cabin. We cruised with my 95 year old father in an accessible cabin. At the time he could walk with a walker but we rented a wheelchair for the trip. He used the walker in the cabin but we used the wheelchair anywhere else on the ship and when we left the ship. The accesible bathroom was amazing. Regular cabin bathrooms just don't have the room needed for someone with mobility issues. Enjoy your cruise!

I didn't think the price was bad. Some people have found used copies on line cheaper. I wish you could order them from Princess so you could read them ahead of time.

Correct, those ports aren't in the book.

You can order your medallion once you have completed the checkin items you just will not be able to have it mailed. You will pick it up at the pier. I hope this helps!
