You're not making it this far up, our sun will set tonight @ 11:22 PM... It no longer gets truly dark until about the 3rd week of August or so...

Hahaha -- we call that the Sun Effect 🙂

@Saint Greg -- Have an amazingly fabulous trip!!! I hit "downtown" Talkeetna today & by the number of Princess, RCL & Premier Buses - Tourist season has definitely started... I was checking mail & then drove by the softball field to see if the snow would be melted in time for the first tournament in 2 weeks... Barring new snow - it should be snow free - but may be wet. I stopped to enjoy Denali & the Alaska Range from the Denali Overlook today... And another slightly closer shot of Denali on 04/20/22 - same spot 🙂

@chemmo - carousels, roller coasters, log rides, scramblers, round-ups... Pretty much any ride 🙂 Always remember... You have to grow old - but you never have to grow up 🙂

Chemmo - that's fantastic... I'd be right up there w/ you!!! I missed my chance to buy a Carousel Horse @ an estate sale, once upon a time...

You most likely have already booked your hotel.. If not, are you flying into Seattle or Anchorage?

Ken -- we cruised the Panama Canal on the Coral Princess, on the 2011/2012 Christmas & New Year's cruise... The entire cruise was amazing & the day of canal fantastic... At that time we saw them building the new canal... We had planned to sail the Celebrity Infinity from Fort Lauderdale to Valparaiso, Chile - Dec 2016. Unfortunately we had to cancel the cruise for medical reasons... We are still hoping to do another Panama Canal Cruise one of these days!! Enjoy your time on board 🙂

Jim & Iain - wishing you a peaceful night tonight w/ great food & beverage & safe travels to Scotland tomorrow!!! On the side topic - scones & clotted cream... I printed both scone recipes last night & will bake those soon. We do not have access to clotted cream - imagine that in Talkeetna 🙂 However, a friend brought back some imported lemon curd from Trader Joe's. Now, I also need to determine how I'd like to use the lemon curd.

I wonder if that's an UK e-mail... We have not received notification either 🙂

We enjoyed our visit to the Isle of Wight - the beaches, village pubs & Osborne House and Gardens... Congratulations to both you & Iain on testing negative!!! That has to be a relief... @mahdnc We were on the Connie 03/18 w/ Aft-Facing Cabin - deck 7... Our cabin was great! No quarantine nor isolation cabins in the vicinity.
