The P&D parties are not what they used to be anyway. Was just on the MG. We are diamonds, and the invitation said we would each get a drink added to our sail and sign, so one drink each for attending the party, well we did not go anyway, as we had a casino offer of drinks on us anywhere on the ship.

People do get the munchies.

We were able to make reservations in Aug for our Thanksgiving cruise next week, just keep for the last sea day, we had two different times to choose from.

Will be on the Mardi Gras also for Thanksgiving.

We use double sided tape for our door decorations, tape comes off fairly easy at the end of the cruise.

You are right, they will usually give you the drinks, especially if they know you had been playing in the casino, most of the servers get to know me, and I could just be walking thru the casino and they will ask me if I want a drink,

I also had the DOU in the casino only, but was able to get drinks at the bar from the bar tenders, I got to know them, and they knew me, plus good tips help, lol

With Carnival, Platinum and Diamonds check in 16 days early, everyone else is 14 days, so the early time slots go fast, but you will still get a time slot.
