The Ascent cafe baccio on recent cruises was very cold. Needed jacket every morning especially in area nearest aft. I am usually ok. It also varies by cruise and ship. Could be any ship.

I read two weeks. That would mean No for May 5. We board on the 12th for a B2B. Lets hope for longer extension.

What I have found over the years each cruise is unique to the amount of movies that are available. It has never made any sense. Our last two cruises this year on the ascent there were many movies on demand. In October on the equinox there were many, in July on apex there few. I have found each cruise there is no rhyme or reason to the amount of movies available.

My wife always wears a lanyard because most of her slacks do not have pockets. Since they no longer punch holes in your keys(Ascent in Jan), she bought a new lanyards with a clear plastic pocket to put her key in.

We lived on the South Shore of B town. I can say on our B2B on the Ascent in Jan in the Cosmopolitan DR we had the best Lobster tail we have ever had, it was buttered and broiled to perfection. We had on both cruises with a the special steak from Normandie. One other note the escargot was also exceptional on these cruises. Each cruise depends on the chef you get. The Ascent had some of the best meals we have had on X MDR or lumina or Blu. We will sailing on the Beyond in May and it will be interesting to see how it compares.

You can put in what ever you have at first. When you get to terminal they will do whatever you do not have. You can put in by hand or scan. They just added scanning feature recently. Like I said if they do not like the pics you put in they will retake at terminal. For now just get check in time then worry about other stuff later. You can do weeks later it is saved.

you can do on app or on cruise planner. I actually use both some times. It is easier to take picture and enter on app that take a picture then load onto planner.

I just checked in on app this past week. If you want an early time do it at 1201am est. I usually do at 6am est and get 11 or 1130am. I find cruise on app then hit checkin tab. Then you can do both people in room. I then go straight to check in time and get earliest possible. Then I go back and enter information for both people one at a time. You can scan passports and information is then in. Then fill out rest of info. Then take a picture with camera. I usually do that in morning when spouse is awake. So you can come and go with putting info. It will be saved. On arrival day at terminal they may retake picture if your picture is not to their liking. You may need reservation if the app does not have it saved. I never have needed it.

Reflection is more crowded period, more people. Everything else said is true.

We love the French Bistro, it has a cover of 30 per person but great food. It is on 5. Thats our go to to avoid the buffet even on Port days. Sea days we do mdr that is open usually Cosmopolitan.

We had slippers and robes. I am a size 11 and large person 6ft. Both fit well. We were on Ascent and on deck 7 near elevator and deck 12 sv.

Only issue with Eden bar and entertainment, which is excellent, is that the seating is very limited and very very uncomfortable. Plan ahead if you really want to see the shows go there for the previous act and stay.

All suites guest and Zenith have reserved seats usually only needed on chic nights. Ask concierge which nights that will be.

Retreat guests have reserved seats in theatre for the shows. Other shows you do not need to reserve seats no problems. We just came off the Ascent in Jan. I agree with the answer that take an early excursion. Either just get off or do first then walk around all afternoon. Thats what we have done twice. OJ can be had in lumina. We have done many concierge lunches. It's basically the same menu but varies on who the chef is for quality. All have been good to great. How many eat there varies depending on how many BTBs and Zeniths there are and that can be from 20 to 100 plus. I never waited more than 5 minutes to be seated. It is a lot less hassle than the buffet. If you are in a hurry tell the waiter and get a table for 2. My last two E cruises it was in Cypress. We were BTB each time. Last time on the Ascent it did not start until 1230pm, before that it was 1130am. I like the 1230 start time. It gives you more time to get to room and have a drink somewhere. Try it once, you are paying for it.

Both have same drinks and service. More space and better views to ocean in retreat lounge on E class ships. No views in S or M class.

What I cannot believe is that for summer 2025 there are no Celebrity cruises out of Fort Lauderdale or Port Canaveral only out of Miami and that is the Beyond. Why????

No reservations are needed. on the ascent it is held in the Cosmopolitan dining room at 1230pm. Very good lunch and great service. All you need to enter is your room key. Pick that up at your room before heading down to DR. Leave all you carry ons and valuables in the room before heading to DR.

We drop off luggage at terminal 25 and park in the garage across from the terminal. Very convenient but 25 per night. No reservations needed and very hard to get a hdcp parking spot.

We were just on the ascent, their shows were at 730 and 930, so if you go around 545 pm you can go to any restaurant and make the 730 show. Moving the shows a half hour later from the usual 7 makes it a lot easier to make the early show. I do not know if the time are fleet wide. Ascent has been doing those time since Jan at least.

Thats what my wife does. I only use for menus.

It's just easier to use app during the day, I like to plan ahead. Just a personal preference. To each his own.

We have been them all. Our favorite is Cosmopolitan. We like the colors. You can get food from anywhere. You just have to look at the menus each day on the app. They usually have breakfast and lunch on sea days. We were just on the Ascent for two weeks.

Why? The itineraries are shorter and no ABC islands. I wonder why they left Port Everglades. The Oasis class of RCL left too.
