  1. Noticed that Celebrity have introduced a NEW dining package which offers a Specialty Lunch on every Sea Days.

Can anyone who has purchased this package able to confirm what specialty restaurants are open at lunch other than Sushi on Five.

  2. Recent experience is that most of the specialty restaurants are only partial full due the price hikes.

Last month aboard Equinox Murano was only half full for our B2B cruises and we booked every night in murano

Guess you got lucky - Silhouette refused the bets on our last 4 cruises. Hope your luck continues on your next cruise.

I have read similar to what you say but never had the it refused.

Last time I did it myself, previously I enlisted the wife to place bets with me, although it was probably obvious to the Dealer.  One thing I ensure is that table is always busy before I try my luck.

These are only for the table games - and on roulette you can't use them for even bets ( red/black, odds/evens etc).

Yes you can, we did just that in December and converted $300 obc into $280 cash.

Hope to do the same next month again with our $300 non-refundable obc.  No questions were asked when I placed $20 on red and $20 black for many spins and was lucky no '0' or '00'

......We had no crowds in Mykonos...a fun  port.....Has great food, small shops & beautiful water... Easy tender service.

    You were lucky.

According to their tourist board 895 cruise ships visited their tiny Island in 2023 up from 608 the year previous - they describe it as a nightmare.

We unfortunately booked a Celebrity cruise to discover that 7 cruise ships will be there the day we visit on Equinox in July (potentially over 15,000 passengers) which I would say is intolerable and not worthy of departing the ship by tender.

As I said earlier the Cruise Industry is destroying tourism and it's getting worse........

......If you don’t want crowds don’t take a cruise.

The large cruise ships are killing tourism in the Mediterranean and on some Caribbean Islands. There was always crowds BUT not to same extent as today. There are so many people it's better not to go ashore that's why cruising has lost it's appeal, to us at least.

Not a problem for me.    I've never gone ashore after B2B processing.    Wonder how many would?

Maybe you don't wish to go ashore but many do.

It most certainly affected us in December when we were stopped going ashore at 11.00am.  In previous year we always were able to do a little shopping in a local mall.   In the letter given to all B2B passengers there was no mention of this change in policy.

  8. I phoned Captain's Club UK number, I believe it was answered by Celebrity US (Accent give away).

Both wife and I were 3 points away from Elite Plus and there was no PUP points awarded to either of us, so asked why.  The lady said she'd email "Loyalty" and get them to look into it,  within a couple of hours my Celebrity App said Elite Plus (Still 747pts).  Later received an email saying points will be corrected at the next run (15th Feb).
