While you don't NEED a passport , people will tell you to apply for one, in case you miss the ship or have to fly home for an emergency.

Look up the Blue Hole in Ocho Rios. Trip advisor has a lot of great reviews, you tube has tons of videos, plus you can make your own schedule ex. (blue hole, jerk chicken and shopping)
