You have to remember most of the food has been previously frozen. Not so in stateside steakhouses. Also the steaks cannot be cooked over open flame.

You can ask your TA to have Regent put you on a priority wait list if you are willing to put up a $1,000 deposit (which is refundable should you not be cleared or if you change your mind). This puts you ahead of anyone who simply asked to be wait listed.

We have used Driven Miami many times and have been very pleased. You can book your limo on line.

Union stevedores at the Miami cruise terminal are not Regent employees and they are NOT bashful about asking for a tip.

PR also offers several oriental beers that don't appear on the menu. Sapporo is my favorite with the assorted sushi platter.

My wife and I have had Medjet Horizon coverage for a number of years and it is time to renew although this time we will need the more expensive Diamond coverage. Before renewing, I was wondering if any CC members with a Medjet membership had actually used the service for medical transport or evacuation and how the process went? We have two Regent cruises planned for 2023 beginning in January so I need to move ahead if I am going to get coverage in place before departure. Although I did suffer a heart attack in 2018 we both are in relatively good health.

The Regent web site still shows "free custom air service" as a benefit of Platinum Seven Seas status.

If they are not in your room when you arrive then ask your butler for either or both. They are available. The binoculars are OK but do not have image stabilization.

We have never had a problem with access to the Delta Sky Lounge using Regent business class tickets.

When traveling on Splendor and there is a sea day that falls on Sunday, is there always an extravagant brunch?

My wife and I are booked on a September 2023 cruise that makes a stop in Edinburgh, Scotland. It appears that none of the listed shore excursions include an opportunity to tour the Royal Yacht Britannia which is something we both wanted to do. Since the ship will be in port from 9 AM to 7PM we were wondering if it would be possible to do a medium length tour earlier in the day and then walk from the ship in the afternoon to see the Britannia. I cannot imagine why a stop in Edinburgh would not include touring the Britannia, hopefully one will be added before departure. Is it possible to walk or take a short taxi ride from the ship to the Britannia and can you simply walk up and purchase admission tickets or must they be purchased in advance? Thanks so much for your help and I may have a few more questions about things to see and do on a British Isles cruise.

You can check-out anytime you like, but you can never leave.

I agree about the pens not being provided in rooms. We had to ask our butler for one so we could fill out the room service breakfast menu. Made sure to leave it in the room when we left so the next passenger would not have to ask and Regent would not have to go to the expense exorbitant expense of providing another.

Just got back from our Explorer cruise and can confirm that Vero water was available in both still and carbonated.

Is Regent currently providing drinking water for shore excursions in single use plastic bottles or are they now exclusively offering the reusable variety?
