Question for @George C ? Have you had any problems with your Subaru Outback battery? There is a class action lawsuit, and I just filled out a claim form today. We had problems with ours. The battery died twice in the first week we owned it. We had to take it back to the distant dealer a week after purchase, who replaced it with a new Subaru battery. And that one died about 9 months later. Bill was fed up at that point and replaced it with an Interstate Optum something battery. I submitted for reimbursement on the Interstate. May hear something in a few years. 🤔

That's kind of the way I see it. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a ship from another cruise line at Coco Cay. Other cruise lines visit Falmouth, Icy Strait Point and Costa Maya. For a price, there is no exclusivity. I don't think it is a big deal, or why you would question someone about it.

We watched "News of the World" last night and enjoyed it. We are also Tom Hanks fans. His mom used to work on the bacon line at a meat packing plant with (my starter husband). I met her at several of their company picnics. She was so proud of Tommy, when he had his first show on "Bosom Buddies." ☺️

Thanks Pat! We had a couple of short downpours like that this morning. Along with lightning and thunder. Apparently, there is a hole with radiating melted asphalt lines around it a little ways down the hill from a lightning strike. The thunder boom woke everyone up at 8. I may have to check it out when the weather improves. Someone pinpointed the strike on their lightning app. Who knew? ☺️

I just saw this. Sacramento on Saturday. I guess they had some evacuations, too.

On one ABC cruise, Freewinds was in each port with us. They were very active. Everyone wore blue coveralls, some people had white coveralls. They were doing calisthenics on the deck in the morning. And one afternoon they were all doing some sort of water drills in the small boats. It was kind of interesting.

Thanks Debbie. It is very, very wet. Even wetter than last time I complained about wet. It rained all day today, at times very heavy. There is a lot more localized flooding, and more roads and highways are closed by flooding or landslides or sinkholes. Sacramento area, and Monterey have been hit pretty hard. I think Sacramento has a lot of trees down and power outages. We are still fine. Hopefully, we are supposed to get a break later next week. Thanks for asking. We haven't floated away yet. ☺️

Congratulations! That is a wonderful and awesome accomplishment with your PhD. Very few people get to that level of education. I believe that you said that you had retired, though? Do you have plans for a second career? 😊 I thought about a Master's in Public Administration after my Biology degree, because I was working in government, but decided not. Biology and bugs and animals are my first love, not Poli Sci.

Mine says the same thing, and it is from 2013. It also has Friends and Family certificates. (Not that we seem to have any cruising friends or family) I don't know where they are even coming up with only $50 OBC, because that is not even listed? This is something that actually might need to go to the executive office, if they can't figure it out over the phone. It is really tricky (for me) to copy a section of a .pdf, plus I had to find it, because we haven't used it yet. 😊

It probably dropped off, if it is not shown on your invoice. You will have to call to have it restored. We've had that happen more than once.

If you are in Rosarito Beach, you would definitely be the person to ask. ☺️ I will say we sailed in April, and it was freezing for 4 of the 5 days. I have never seen so many newly purchased Ensenada sweatshirts on any prior sailing. It was pleasantly warm in Cabo, the day we were there.

@Tree_skier That slide near Fresno is pretty amazing! I'm sorry. I am getting so tired of this constant rain. I never thought I had SAD, but this is getting kind of depressing. I had to go into neighboring town of Castro Valley today for an appointment, and I forgot the f*** road was washed out and closed. I hate being late. Dungeness crab season finally opened on Dec. 31st and we can buy them directly on the dock in Half Moon Bay. I told Bill I wanted to go over and get some. Today he asked when I wanted go, because Hwy 35 is closed. I said where is 35? (Only I used the f word again) He said, the road that goes over the pass to HFB. I only know roads in my own county. So, I am starting to get a little tense and annoyed by the weather situation, even though we haven't had the horrible flooding and damage that others have experienced. I know that others are always worse off than we are.

She's not going to get better on her own Len. Unfortunately.
