  1. I use this method too. I always start with my highest priority excursions and only do one or two at a time, wait for the confirmation email, then repeat. I also use Chrome on a desktop. Extremely slow and painful, but eventually they get done. Worst problem I've had is clicking the wrong excursion and trying to get rid of it then booking the correct excursion. Also agree that patience is key. You have to wait until the last click completes before trying anything else.
  2. Also on the April 5, 2022 Splendor TA. Can hardly wait. Fairly quickly (2 months) followed on the Northern Norway cruise on Navigator in July/August.
  3. I was wondering though when someone would question the inconsistency. Wording in the article made me wonder if it would only apply to Floridians....
  4. I was on the November 2018 cruise with mj_holiday on the Navigator and had a fantastic cruise. I would definitely go again! So sorry that SWFLAOK didn't have as great an experience when they went. If you search Amazon on the Regent board you should find mj_holiday's review along with some other great posts.
  5. Japan is not vaccinating very quickly, and pretty sure they will wait to open to tourists until after the Olympics in August. That is according to my daughter who lives on Okinawa. I'm hoping they will be open by October, but am not holding my breath. At least not booking any flights until they open!
  6. Suite Guru is a pinned post at the top of this Forum.
  7. I will be very interested to hear how the Oceania cruise goes, as we were on the Regent Baltic that was canceled also. Curious to see which ports are open.
  8. Tick Tock! End of the month is Friday!
  9. Well, there goes the Baltic cruise for the second year in a row....
  10. Are any of these proposed departure ports open to U.S. citizens other than the Caribbean? As of today, the website for Greece says: The Embassy is aware that high-level officials have spoken of intentions to facilitate summer 2021 tourism to Greece. However, there is no projected date when entry will be permitted for residents of the United States. The U.S. Embassy in Athens cannot give you any assurance regarding whether or when residents of the United States may be allowed to enter Greece. https://gr.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/
  11. Well, no cruises in July at all. Only 3 cruises that go through U.S. waters in Alaska in August, and one Barcelona to NY, which arrives NY on Sept. 1. So very little concern about CDC affecting Regent start up until at least September, given the Canadian ban on cruise ships. Then the only cruises in U.S. waters in September are to Canada (Alaska end of season and foliage cruises). The first cruise out of Miami that I see on the schedule is Navigator on Nov. 5. Perhaps that is why Regent start up in the U.S. hasn't been talked about? Basically, Regent has until the first week in Novem
  12. If Regent were to take Splendor to Greece in August, hopefully they will notify those of us on the current Splendor itineraries in August soon..... Big difference between sailing a Baltic itinerary and a Greek one!
  13. Scout16, the Yellow Fever vaccine was required in the past when the itinerary included Devils Island. Regent no longer includes this port on their Amazon itineraries.
  14. Already 2 weeks past my second shot, and still holding a slim hope for August 20th on the Splendor! Have not canceled my Copenhagen hotel reservation yet....
  15. That is an interesting question. I for one could go either way, with or without masks required. It seems like the people who don't want masks are more adamant than those who are willing to wear masks on the cruise.
