  1. Rhapsody. (The first cruise I ever took was on Rhapsody in 2004 on my 40th birthday. Turned 40 in Key West and spent an evening with a number of the Royal Caribbean entertainment staff at a bar in Key West.) We were on Grandeur in May 2022 and it was ok but the service and food were very spotty. It was so "off" compared to other ships that we thought it was being used as a "training" ground for new employees. It was our 3rd cruise in 2022 after 2 cruises on Liberty and Liberty was great.
  2. What's port parking like in Honolulu if I want to drive there from Texas? Does Lighthouse or Ez Cruise have a location there? 🙂
  3. Cozumel - Chichen Itza. Just take something for the bumpy ferry ride.
  4. Someone asked this question in a different thread but it wasn't answered in the thread (at least as of my writing this). With medallions being erroneously charged because they're in proximity to someone purchasing something such as a drink, has anyone begun using a protective RFID sleeve to prevent their medallion from being read erroneously? Thanks
  5. When we sailed in April, I was able to get a 2nd one for free and then eat the two my wife couldn't. However, do note that YMMV. I'm super handsome and threw several winks to our waitress..... 🙂
  6. Glad you posted this. My wife and I have been thinking about trying a princess cruise. If we do, I think we'll make sure it's a short one just in case.
  7. Yes, it's kind of hit and miss. When things have been "forgotten," we've still been able to get accommodation. We always make sure to inform them about allergies in the dining room just in case.
  8. Got on a scale once and it said "one at a time please!" 🙂
  9. I want my bed by the bathroom. Not once have I ever gotten up in the middle of the night and wished I was closer to the balcony. 🙂
  10. I guess I'll have to bring a gold marker next time. 🙂
  11. A gold key card to flash around to show you have a GS.
  12. We also drank from water hoses and rode in the car on the platform above the backseat. We were indestructible. Now we pull a muscle when opening a bag of chips. My oh my how the mighty have fallen...... 😞
  13. I think we've learned from prior experiences that you can never be sure how things will go. Just when you think you've got it figured out, there's some issue that arises and it can change things We just go at our assigned time and we generally expect to not have a hiccup but we understand it's possible.
  14. If we want something for late night, we boost it from the WJ and leave it in the room before the show.
  15. It is creepy if you're wearing a speedo....... 🙂
  16. I'm almost 60 and my wife doesn't leave me alone. She knows better. I'm a very experienced 12 year old. 🙂
  17. We were on in December and the show was a little over 3 hours including an intermission.
  18. If he's losing money, maybe it will keep prices lower for the rest of us.
  19. Looks like a magician was performing on a Royal Caribbean ship and was attacked by an unruly passenger. Didn't see the ship's name in the article but it looks like it's out of Australia. "As a world-class magician, Ben Murphy (@thebenmurphy_) is used to surprising his audience with impressive tricks and illusions that leave them on the edge of their seats. But during a recent performance on a Royal Caribbean cruise, audience members weren’t the only ones left in shock during his act — so was Murphy when an unruly passenger allegedly assaulted him onstage."
