I am in Durham. Pet and also Love are very common. A few years ago someone decided this was demeaning and some employees were told not to use it. Obviously that didn't work and both endearments are regularly used. I can't understand p.c. surely it is better to be nice to people. Makes the world a better place. My Mam also called people Son. When she moved into her retirement apartment (flat)🙂 She told all workmen. There you are son. Get yourself a drink. They probably all had more money than her

You are not alone. I like Oasis music. I do list the Stones as one of my favorite groups. So that is probably why. I have just found this as we were on holiday last week. I hope you continue to enjoy the Baltics. Personally I prefer northern holidays. Much more interesting. Add in all your family..... what's not to like 🙂

I can't believe anyone would be so rude and insensitive to ask why you were at the doctor's.

My husband has an allotment. He has grown most things in purple. However when cooked they either revert to their original colour, or turn grey. Believe me grey cabbage is not an appetising sight

A pub near us has a duck race every year. £1 a duck for charity. The river is tidal so for weeks you could see the ducks going up and down trying to escape to the sea. A few years ago they became environmentally friendly. So now after the finishing line you have a row of people with nets catching the ducks.

I have checked my bookings for you. For 2024 it says sold out. For next year it says coming soon. Different ships but I think if it was sold out it would say so.
