  1. I'm not sure. We did do this on our own and if I remember correctly the garden is very close to the cable stop. It's a straight flat walk along the main street. You could always get a taxi if needed.
  2. I would very much think so. You can leave her in jacuzzi while you sit on the balcony with a hot.drink.
  3. Did you look on 'what's in port' They are usually good
  4. Yup that's the conclusion I've come to.
  5. I did manage to get the app. I went to reception and made her show me every step so I could do it myself
  6. Regardless it's still a pretty good deal.
  7. Ahh, I did get them to download the app (they didn't manage). I did not know they could also book the restaurants. Thank you
  8. What's the Holiday Desk? Can't say I have ever noticed one
  9. I have always thought the galleries wasted valuable space. As they keep installing them on all their ships I presumed I was in the minority
  10. One cruise on Oriana. Long before apps. There was a queue. Being British I obviously went to see what for. It was the queue to get into the restaurant. It was 5.30pm! Apparently all the old dears wanted their favourite seat.
  11. I've read through all the post, and my head is spinning. Only thing I can come up with is time. Two systems will have to run until all the un apped can cruise no longer. Then all the 'bright young folk', with phones attached to the end of their arms can take over the ships.
  12. I think I will have to give up. If I can't get to sleep I will mull some more. But I don't think I am clever enough to come up with answers It was actually Auntie Ethel and her sister on our cruise, which made me think how unfair it was. They had not been to any shows. I told them reception would do it for them. They were quite timid and I really felt sorry for them. They weren't even moaning just said there was lots of other things to do.
  13. Lots to think about here. Obviously I had not! First thoughts. Separate restaurant for walk in, app but M.D. able to redirect if necessary. I think for paying restaurant you would still have to go with first come first served. For shows maybe a desk somewhere so people could physically book I will have to do some thinking but you have raised a lot of good points
  14. I don't know for definite but when I was booking limelight for our cruise it showed this. I tried a different date and managed to book. So I think it may be full. You could try a different time/date to see if that works. Apart from the first night we didn't have to queue to get in MDR
  15. Personally I think whether people choose to use the app or not. They all paid the same as me so are entitled to all the amenities
  16. It must be very frightening when you live on your own and can't get around. She will be so grateful to you. I sincerely hope the injections work for her. She is too young to be having worries like this
  17. Book on board. It's usually easy to get a table
  18. Thanks. Noodles are inoffensive. I thought it might have been something exotic. Looks worth a try
  19. You may be disappointed. It said clotted cream but definitely wasn't. Also it was whipped so much there was no substance
  20. We also liked the busker. Often for requests he would say he would give it a go as long as we didn't mind if he got some of the words wrong. I don't remember him being loud in the atrium or round the pool. He was kicked out of Brodie's for football
  21. Graham what's the black curly stuff, top left?
