I'm not sure.
We did do this on our own and if I remember correctly the garden is very close to the cable stop. It's a straight flat walk along the main street. You could always get a taxi if needed.
One cruise on Oriana. Long before apps. There was a queue. Being British I obviously went to see what for. It was the queue to get into the restaurant. It was 5.30pm! Apparently all the old dears wanted their favourite seat.
I've read through all the post, and my head is spinning.
Only thing I can come up with is time.
Two systems will have to run until all the un apped can cruise no longer. Then all the 'bright young folk', with phones attached to the end of their arms can take over the ships.
I think I will have to give up.
If I can't get to sleep I will mull some more. But I don't think I am clever enough to come up with answers
It was actually Auntie Ethel and her sister on our cruise, which made me think how unfair it was. They had not been to any shows. I told them reception would do it for them. They were quite timid and I really felt sorry for them. They weren't even moaning just said there was lots of other things to do.
Lots to think about here. Obviously I had not! First thoughts. Separate restaurant for walk in, app but M.D. able to redirect if necessary. I think for paying restaurant you would still have to go with first come first served. For shows maybe a desk somewhere so people could physically book
I will have to do some thinking but you have raised a lot of good points
I don't know for definite but when I was booking limelight for our cruise it showed this. I tried a different date and managed to book. So I think it may be full. You could try a different time/date to see if that works. Apart from the first night we didn't have to queue to get in MDR
It must be very frightening when you live on your own and can't get around. She will be so grateful to you. I sincerely hope the injections work for her. She is too young to be having worries like this
We also liked the busker. Often for requests he would say he would give it a go as long as we didn't mind if he got some of the words wrong. I don't remember him being loud in the atrium or round the pool. He was kicked out of Brodie's for football
