  1. I have a Verizon International Plan. It is $10 a day for all calls and data in those countries and you are only charged when you turn on the phone. The $10 is for 24 hours of service. If you leave it off for a day...no charge. Mine is Travel Pass

We have used Travel Pass with Verizon for all of our trips outside the US and have found it to be extremely useful. Once you've set it up, it's always there for future excursions overseas.

  2. Wow!

Why stop with tuna - when you can call me a tunahead? I don't know why folks are going after me when I don't set these prices. I have the unique situation having sailed Carnival for years to see what more folks might like to see and cross over - all you have to do is look at the prices. That's just one idea it is probably more complicated than that and more ways to compete without copying the fun ships - like others have said.

I'm going to move this topic over to a Caribbean thread where more folks hop around to different cruise lines.

    Best news I've heard today!:p

  3. We were staying in a suite on the Equinox in April 2018 and had friends with us who were staying in a CC room. One evening we had plans for the four of us to dine in Muranos and our MC bartender setup a table for our group in the Ensemble Lounge (just outside from MC). He brought our drinks (for DH and me) directly to the Ensemble Lounge where we were seated with our friends and provided hors d'oeuvres for all of us. We were delighted by the special service which was provided and tipped our bartender accordingly.

  4. Yes, but I’m so looking forward to Doug & Cindy’s ‘Chic’ thread . Hope you’re reading along Doug - I know now it will be so entertaining, just like your others ;p.

Definitely "Like" this comment! But I'm not sure if Doug and Cindy are ready to venture out past food and soda to start commenting on chic dress.

  5. Looks like I will be going out of the Ft Lauderdale port. Any suggestions to use as an Hotel, or does it really matter how close you are. I would love it if the Hotel as a Shuttle to the dock. Or should we just take an Taxi.

We like to use the Hyatt Place Convention Center in FLL. They have both an airport and dock shuttle from the hotel.

  6. I am slow to this discussion but just wanted to comment that last summer while on the Millennium there was a group of fifteen suites traveling together for a total of thirty people. The Luminae maitre' d had them divide themselves into two approximately equal groups during dinner with half being seated at a specific time, and the second half seated later. At breakfast and lunch on sea days they just were seated in tables of four as they arrived. Since Luminae on the M-class ships is smaller than a S-class Luminae for those who are wondering I didn't think that group impacted our service at all.

But on S-class ships I have observed groups of 10 - 12 folks being seated together.

When we were on the Equinox in April 2018, a group of 10 were seated in the back half of Luminae every night. Unfortunately, they were excessively loud (intoxicated) and no one else wanted to sit there. It was very jammed to have everyone else having to be seated in the front half of Luminae. We were very unhappy with our experience. Large groups need to be aware that they can ruin it for others if they "let themselves go."

  7. Sorry, if I wasn't clear. The issue is not about a login issue (user name vs email) or the standard browser issue. I can login, I can get to my account. The issue is that all of the information that I have entered countless times before - reservation numbers for upcoming cruises, captains club information, personal contact data, immigration information is all missing.

I agree that this situation is frustrating and unacceptable. When will Celebrity ever “get it?”
