Ol fashioned BBQ was in fact open on embarkation day, as well as both sea days. 11-3 I believe.

Thanks! I found similar info, but the lack of specific information for the ship is what made me question. It’s not listed for any of the other ships either, so for whatever reason carnival is keeping this option quiet.

The manager, Sebastian, confirmed that the access provided by the Dolphin swim would allow access to the Cabana area.

If a family of four were to head to Chankanaab, with three doing the dolphins swim and one not, could the one rent the cabana and pay the park admission with Cabana Bay and then the other three head over using their park admission from Dolphin Discovery?

I’ve just booked the Valor for five nights in October, and I’ve only cruised twice - both five night sailings on Carnival. Both cruises were very enjoyable, which is why we’re looking at another. I’m curious if anyone can expand upon the “night and day” and “kids these days” comments. I know the travel situation has changed since covid, but this seems very specific. Is it just folks out drinking all day? At the dance club all night? Being rude and aggressive at the buffet? Starting fights at the pool? I’ve done a news search on the Valor and don’t come up with much.
