We're on the FB site and have done a spreadsheet for all their people too. Deb & I are in rm 4280. You'll probably see me wearing an orange and black Varysburg Fire & Rescue shirt on the first day. Added you here..Welcome....Didn't know there were any spots left but do know that our casinojoannm1 injured her hip and is unable to go....See you in 11 days.... ccLuminosa24 2.xlsx

Thanks to both of you. I'm planning on boarding fairly early (11:30 or 12) have some lunch and then check out the ship. Maybe mid-afternoon 2:30/3 might be a good time. We don't sail until 6 pm I think. If its a clear day we can meet out on deck someplace, or in the comedy club up front if it is raining. To complete your Carnival check-in date is Sept. 3.

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Potts Landing, Sydney. The Blue Mountain tour actual picks us up at this Hotel. There are a couple harbour tours available on the day we get in. Any one been on one of these? Which would you advise. We are also planning on taking the Opera House tour and walking the Bondi to Coogee beach path. Any other suggests for our 3 day stay in Sydney that is a "MUST SEE"?

Both of those are great ideas. One other is, while traveling there will be quite a few others that are doing the same B2B. If they have the internet package you can ask them to help you check in. I've done this before. Most are very agreeable, when you tell them you are trying to stay away from technology but need it just this one time....

Hi Jo, We are flying from USA east coast on Sept. 16th so we can tour Seattle again and do things we missed the last time. We are staying near the airport. It is less expensive and we can, as seniors, ride the light rail for $2 pp/day. There are quite a few boutique type hotels in downtown Seattle. My cousin lives across the sound on Bainbridge Island. If you belong to a Hotel Group like Hilton, Choice or whatever you'll find a place. We belong to 4 groups. I used Google maps to find Country Inn & Suites. We like to get breakfast through the hotel, so it gets us a good start for the day. I've also added you to our little group and you can see the like below. Probably not much help, sorry. The cruise port is about a $10 ride on Uber from downtown. ccLuminosa24 2.xlsx

Filled out our Australia ETA. I believe it lasts for a year. Used the phone app and it was $13.37 each. Not bad at all. Had seen others that were more expensive. Going to call Currency Exchange and order some Aus$. We're only staying 3 days so not getting too many. They have to order them and then will call you when they are in. Hope everyone is having a great summer....

Thanks will look at Viator for the swimming with the whales and Blue Mountain trip. Want to book both of them ahead of time so we are assured of getting date and time, when are time is limited to begin with. Also booked with Footstep Tours Suva, Fiji. Booking reference #4 tour. Book now, pay $60 when you get there. We find them at the Yellow and White flag on the pier. Time is flying by...and I'm soooo looking forward to checking off another bucket list adventure.

I found it on Trip Advisor. "Deluxe Blue Mountain tour" for $169 US$? Aus$?. It picks up at certain places in Sydney, so we are staying at one of those Hotels. Is your 4-wheeler adventure thru Carnival or someone else? We are looking at swimming with the whales on Moorea but hope they will pick us up at the tender dock instead of trying to wonder around to find them. Heard some people scheduled with companies and then they didn't show up to pick them up.

We are starting to look at things we will do at each port. Any ideas from you?? We saw that there is a whale watch at Moorea, but also found a swim with the whales on Tripadvisor. Doing The Blue Mountains on our first full day in Sydney. Thinking of taking the Deluxe tour that will actually pick us up at our Hotel.

Thank you for your help. When I went into the carnival app message and looked at the islands we are visiting it seemed like we would need a French visa for the French Polynesian islands. I thought that was weird since we are only there a few hours at each port each day. We are going to stay in Australia for 4 days so will head to their visa process area...Thanks again.

There are others both here and on another cruise site. I've added you to our list...Welcome. We're looking at renting a car in Hawaii and doing Diamond Head and the south shore for snorkeling and the views. Also hope to do some hiking. Pepeete hope to do the whale watch. and not much more planned for shore excursions yet. Planning on doing the Steak House, always a favorite with us as a special night. We're turning Diamond on this cruise and it's our 50th anniversary cruise treat to each other as well. It is less than 5 months away and can hardly wait for the great time we hope to have.

We have...!! The trip up the road is precarious but the monastery is amazing. They tell of the German army trying to invade the monastery because the Germans thought the Ark of the Covenant might be there. The walk to, I think the Cross of St. Michael and the views are awe inspiring. I love Church History. Took a bus trip from Barcelona there.

Wow, You are doing a lot of cruising. If you get to Barcelona, it a great city. Make sure to get tickets to see Sagrada Familial (probably not spelled correctly.) It the huge church designed by Gaudi. and may be finally nearing completion after HOW many years?! You have to get tickets a month ahead of time to get inside, although the outside is amazing too. Gaudi has gardens and houses in town also.
