  1. We're D+ and in our balcony cabins there are always several bottles of water when we arrive.
  2. We were supposed to be on a TA leaving on Passover and I contacted Royal, Mbayley@rcci.com. someone contacted me, gave me a number to call and they were very helpfu. l made reservations for the seder that they were doing. No I don't think it was going to be very kosher but they are trying. Heading to family in Wisconsin for the seders. Not quite the same but nice.
  3. We sailed into Tampa in October onnthe Radiance after a Canal transit. I slept. But on the Brilliance December 29, 2018, we wentvto muster, the old one, and the captain did his usual announcements and then said the coast guard had closed the port and we wouldn't sail forca while because of fog! We all were confused as it looked sunny to us. Well while it was clear at the port the bridge was fogged in. Didn't sail until after 12 noon the next day!. Got to the bridge around 3:30 the next day. And since we couldn't leave the 3 ships to enter the next morning didn’t start sailing in until we and the Rhapsody sailed under the bridge. Missed a port but captain sailed along Cancun at midnight so we could watch the fireworks from the hotels at midnight new years eve. Really nice show.
  4. We've done that. Talk to your waiter or head waiter a day or more 8n advance. They'll be happy to help.
  5. Look at the postings for the current Radiance Panama Canal sailing. They just discussed that.
  6. Gosh didn't think the weather was that bad going around the hurricanes!
  7. How about emailing mbayley@rccl.com and ask them for help. Wouldn't be surprised if the staff wouldn't have ideas.
  8. Thanks. Did a little googling and realized it must be then. We board on 8/10 for 2 cruises. That will be nice.
  9. Usually all aboard for a port stop is 30 minutes prior to sailaway. Things can change due to weather or other circumstances. All aboard from departure port is usually 90 minutes before sailaway. Hope this helps.
  10. Enjoy your trip. We sailed her through the canal in October. Missed our Mexico stop because o. f 3 hurricanes! Captain avoided them so it was smooth sailing. We love that class of ships.
  11. Yes, but that's the way life is. For me it was just a couple of hours w day and I set the time.
  12. In early 2020 I sailed on Radiance around Australia with very few problems. Only needed to work a couple of hours, mostly at night. I also worked sailing from Copenhagen to Boston, again with few, if any problems.
  13. We sailed Radiance Vancouver to San Diego last September and 2nd seating was 7:30. They seem to do that in Alaska. Don't know why
  14. Used Medway. Got them from a friend, who currently lives in Texas but whose family in London has used them for years. Found them reliable and their price was good. Always answered my emails very quickly.
  15. In Australia we were required to leave the ship by 9 am and not return for 2 hrs. Did. It in Perth. In Sydney coming from NZ we were changing cabins so moved stuff but didn’t have to leave out the night before, just standard moving of stuff. And again the 2 hr requirements.
  16. Yep. And as an only child of older parents she runs the world!
