  1. Before my first Carnival cruise, I did my research and found chocolate melting cake was a must have. On the board I had it and did not care for it. I ordered it again on a different cruise thought I might miss something the first time. Well, it did not change much. To me, chocolate melting cake is just another average dessert. I am not saying I hate it. But I can go cruise without it.:o

    I don't like it either.

  2. Looks like you love you August cruises! I'm hoping the summer rush will be subsiding by the 22nd of August. How are your experiences with sailing around this time? Are the boats packed and what is the kid ratio like?

I like sailing at the end of August because I have kids and can only travel during summer months. August is not as hot and the prices are lower because kids in Florida start school mid August. It is during off peak time so not as crowded.

  3. I am planning vacation for August with my dh and two kids ages 11 and 13. We were looking at the 8 day cruises on the liberty and freedom. They have almost the same itinerary grand turk, san juan , st thomas & st maarten. Liberty goes to St kitts instead of St Thomas.

For those who have been on both ships which would you recommend?
