We decided to cancel our cruise on the Sun Princess. Just too many things we either don’t like how they are set up or just underwhelmed with the ship in general.

Well honestly, I think that Princess is in such a mess in general that the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. However, I do wish that someone would post about this category. I think that the Sanctuary is a huge disappointment, no shade and cheap loungers. If category D0 doesn’t have Signature benefits as shown on Princess website deck plans I might well cancel my cruise

Well, that’s excellent news in general. Having that dining room and Signature area of the Sanctuary are both important factors to me in booking this category. Now if only the person on the current sailing would give us some more information soon, that would be wonderful

I do like the cabin and am pleased to have loungers on the balcony

I just downloaded the new app, and while it has my cabin and category correct being D0 it does not say anything about the Reserve dining room in the app or personalizer

Wil do. Seeing as they only have a handful of this cabin category available, it presents a relative bargain to gain the benefits of Signature Class

I too noticed this cabin category and that it included the Signature benefits and booked the last on open for the September transatlantic crossing. Like you I don’t understand why the written confirmation doesn’t list this benefit. I called Princess and the person in reservations had to check with someone about the Sanctuary being included. Didn’t say anything about the separate dining room. I don’t think that Princess has trained or advised res staff of some of the unique aspects of this ship

Is it possible to book a day pass for the retreat for sea days only? I’d like to do this during embarkation. Also, I have an 11:00 am boarding time in Malta. Does P&O allow us to drop off our carry on luggage in the cabin even if the cabin is not yet ready? We want to get back off the ship and explore more of Malta since we don’t sail until late

Thank you for the reply’s . We will be gone for 17 days total land and cruise. In my opinion no reason that P&O, nor any cruise line should not provide that. I know in some hotels it’s the norm, but it comes off as cheap

I’ve been reading some reports that P&O are no longer providing wash cloths (face flannels) in the cabins? I find this odd on a ship. Sailing on Azura in April. Anyone back recently that can answer this question? Thanks!
