  1. During my last cruise, I specifically told them I wanted to apply my discount for my free photo. They were prepared to charge me for it. That's the one Diamond perk I find you have to be extremely vocal about or you will get charged.
  2. I went to Resort for a Day and booked Warwick Paradise Island for the first time. I'm looking forward to it!
  3. Random question about the app ... how far in advance can I start using it for an upcoming sailing? It still won't let me access it for my Navigator sailing in November. I'm assuming maybe after final payment?
  4. My first long cruise was a 10 night March Explorer sailing from NJ. I loved the fact that it was older people. I don't think a 7 night sailing will be enough for me again. I'm fortunate to have 4 weeks of vacation and will always spend 2 weeks at a time on cruising.
  5. Done his tour twice and enjoyed both times. One of the times I went on his tour, my parents were on the following sailing. I asked him if I could prepay their tour and he said no problem. I was a little worried there would be an issue, but it went off so smoothly, they had a great time.
  6. There are no deals on my two sailings in November. If they are deals, they are not lower than what I previously booked (3 night dining package for Navigator and beach tour for Explorer)
  7. I've used their roaming services during my last trip in November, which was in Italy. I was only charged the daily rate. nothing more.
  8. I work for a wireless company. If it connects to voicemail, it will be considered 1 minute of usage. Depending on your Crown & Anchor level, it may be cheaper to use the ship phone.
  9. I like the longer cruises as well. I will always try and do a long one, either 9 or 10 nights. My last cruise was a 12 night TA. This fall, I'm doing a B2B with a 4 night and a 9 night sailing and then next year, I'm doing the 14 night TA on Allure. So yea, I like long cruises 🙂
  10. I'm plus size and I'm usually fine in the shower - what I tend to do though is keep the door open and just put a towel on the floor.
  11. I did this as well with Henessey Pure White. Glad I realized they price matched as it was about a $7 difference.
  12. I booked the 3 night dining package for my Navigator sailing. I paid for it up front and based on what they were charging for the individual restaurants, I'm saving at least $50. Looking forward to trying Hooked and Jamie's Italian. You pick the time for the first day and they pick the rest but they are easliy changed.
  13. Thank you for these amazing photos. I'm on the ship in November and absolutely cannot wait ... I'm even thinking about getting the drink package. I already got the 3 night Dining package.
  14. I've sailed out of SJ 3 times and my worse sailing, unfortuantely, was the one I took shortly after the hurricane in November 2017. This was on Adventure but it was the first time I felt crowded on a ship and I've been on Allure. However, that wouldn't stop me from sailing from SJ again. It's a beautiful departure port.
  15. I cruise solo. During my last sailing, I booked a future cruise just to get the reduced deposit. They don't have special solo pricing, but depending on how early you book ahead, you may get great pricing. I'm booked in a solo Junior Suite for my upcoming Navigator sailing and since I've booked, the price has gone up $1,000.
