  1. Although I am in the minority and actually like Brussels, from a cruise that docked in Zeebrugge, I would definitely go to Bruges It is a beautiful, small, and very easy to see on the visit from the cruise. One of our favorite ports to explore on our own.
  2. We did pre clearance in Dublin last September. It was a very easy process. Nice to not have to do it after the flight.
  3. Thank you @uktog for sharing your wonderful trip with us. Really enjoying following along.
  4. Interesting. I tried to add the white horses evening, and was unable to. However, it magically showed up on my reservation, as well as the choir in Tito Square. After reading your post, I decided to check my reservation, and it is now only showing the evening with the white horses!
  5. Thank you @debcip for your cruise report. I really enjoyed reading about you4 trip!
  6. That’s good to know, thanks. I guess I will now book that one! Also, one of the things I was thinking of possibly doing in Koper was visiting the Lippizaner horses, so I’ll probably just pass on that during the day now.
  7. We’re on the Best of the Med cruise on Pursuit this July. For a while, there has been an AzAmazing evening on the schedule for our night in Koper, “Choir Perfomance at Tito Square.”. I signed up for this a while ago. Today while looking at shore excursions, I noticed there is a different AzAmazing evening scheduled at the same time in addition (“Viennese Waltz and White Horses.”) Anyone ever have this happen where there were 2 different events?
  8. I booked the tour online on their site, I received a confirmation pretty quickly.
  9. @laurieb I was able to book a transfer to Venice- Tronchetto for my cruise that ends in Chioggia in July. I did it in “manage my reservation “, there is an item titled “transfer requests “. As previous poster stated, I paid $26.95/person.
  10. I have not personally taken a tour by them yet, however we are booked for one in July. My niece took a tour with them in September (small group) and said it was a great tour. The tour we’re taking (same one my niece took) is Barcelona Sagrada Familia and Montserrat Small group tour.
  11. We really enjoy Neuhaus and Leonidas, but truly every one we stopped at was delicious!
  12. Thanks for sharing this with us. I am enjoying reading your review.
  13. Wow, that’s awesome! Have enjoyed following along. Enjoy the rest of your amazing cruise.
  14. Looking forward to following along. Always enjoy your cruise reports. Have a great vacation!
  15. After you book the excursion on line, make sure you click save. Then you need to phone Azamara (I believe within 48 hours of booking) if you want to apply your OBC to pay for the excursion, or it will be cancelled. Some people have reported lately that they have a button above excursions which allows you to pay with OBC online, however that hasn’t shown up on my account. When I called to pay with the OBC, it was handled very quickly, and they sent me an updated confirmation.
  16. @ringers0815 and @CSHS1979 thank you for the beautiful pictures of Hawaii. Looks fabulous!
  17. Sounds like it will be an amazing trip. Wishing you safe travels, and a wonderful cruise. Looking forward following along.
  18. Interesting, the “Book shore excursions and pay using OBC” online does not show as an option on my upcoming cruise, and I do have OBC available. I have already used some of my OBC to pay for excursions by calling. I also did not get that email.
  19. @island lady thanks so much for taking us along on your adventure, really have enjoyed following along. Safe travels home.
  20. Glad you made it to Singapore safely. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
  21. As others have mentioned, Visby is easy to do on your own. Nice little medieval town. Many interesting ruins of ancient churches. Had a nice drink and snack sitting in one of the town squares. in Ronne (Bornholm), the town is a very short walk from the ship. It’s a pretty little town, but not much in it. We took a cruise line tour that took us around the island, which was really nice. We visited one of the interesting round churches, stopped at a beautiful beach, visited a fishing village, and stopped in another small town (sorry, don’t remember the name) where there were a lot of shops that did glass blowing, and a lot of small cafes. I don’t think it would be easy to do all that without a tour. Enjoy your cruise, sounds like a lot of wonderful ports.
  22. In checking out shore excursions for my Mediterranean cruise this summer, I was surprised at how much some of the non Azamara options I was looking at were. In many cases, they were very similar price to the Azamara ones. I think in general excursions have gotten pricey. Luckily, several of the ports we just plan on doing on our own.
  23. We visited Bornholm on a cruise in 2022. We had an excursion from the cruise line that we enjoyed. Basically did a tour of the island. Visited a few of the round churches. Stopped at a beautiful beach, visited a fishing village. Also stopped in a town (don’t remember the name) where they did glass blowing. We had time before our excursion so we walked around the town of Ronne where the ship docked. Pretty town, we visited one of the churches and some of the shops.
