  1. Sailing out of Vancouver in a couple weeks. Spending a few days prior in the city. Just wondering which is better to use. I assume all fares are in Cad$
  2. Mine showed the $10 charge but when I finished the final page was at 0
  3. I don’t believe that’s true. The $200 pp is no refundable They stress that when you book ( if you get to speak with a live person ..lol)
  4. I get the free room offer and my husband gets free play only. When I book the room he gets his free play.
  5. Go into your cruise and click “manage”. At the top will be travel summary and luggage tags. Go to summary and that will have everything you have included
  6. States “ only for single invited Players Club member”. Don’t know if you’d be allowed to board and pay additional hefty sum or be denied boarding. I don’t think I’d chance it
  7. Email said to wait about 2 weeks for them to appear
  8. Our Sept stop was switched to Catalina. It was on Princess Sapphire
  9. My Sept cruise just switched Monterey for Catalina
  10. Just got an email from Princess that our Sept 27 cruise has swapped Monterey forCatalina
  11. Cash for entrance fee. Was $3 pp or $18 to include water park area. We never did the inclusive and just ordered drinks and food. We used a credit card for that as ran a tab. Same tip as here 15% at least. Loved Paradise
  12. When I booked my last comped cruise, I was also comped the Princess Plus amenity. The agent I spoke with could not add that and said it would be sent up to be “escalated”. I was a bit leery. Everything did eventually show up though. I found it under “ print luggage tags and summary”
  13. Don’t believe so. Just don’t go to guest services the first day due to crowds
  14. There will be specific cruise/ dates to choose from. Remember their Free at Sea package isnt really free. They charge gratuity which is about $300 for 7 day cruise. Plus there is an administration fee of $10 or $20 pp/day. The add port charges and taxes. Last “free” we looked at was $1300 for 7 days.
  15. If you make charge to your room in casino, they will subtract it from your OBC
  16. You need to use your medallion ,not player cards. Think that makes it more difficult unless you sit together and combine your money
  17. We always cruised with CAS until Princess started offering better deals. Princess does not charge that administration fee that NCL does. You may or may not get comped the drink package ( which also includes daily gratuities and free wi fi not limited to certain minutes) With NCL free at sea charges you 18% gratuity on the meal and drink package This was over $300 on a 7 day cruise. Our next cruise is 11 day California coast. Net cost for 2 with balcony comes to around $700 (after subtracting the free play and OBC). NCL doesn’t come close PS. We’re from Troy
  18. I have never gotten a drink card like they give at NCL. Most of my cruises have included the Princess plus and if not, I purchased it. Unlike NCL they do not charge extra for gratuities on drink package. Princess also included free Wi-Fi and daily service charge in the package unlike the FAS package. Princess also does not charge an “administration fee” on the comped cruises.
  19. Did you know you could buy Princess gift cards on Amazon? Maybe put some in a card for a surprise
  20. Check first to see the cost to upgrade to balcony. Often cheaper then budding
  21. Never heard of that. Are you sure it’s the official NCL site? I recently got an offer and appeared to be from NCL with some great perks. Upon investigating was not from NCL
  22. Mix and match. A couple of key pieces you can wear various tops with. Nobody cares,or remembers,if you wear the same thing a few times. And go easy with the shoes. They add weight and take a lot of room in your suitcase
  23. Just checked again and back to the $0 prices.
  24. Just checked and found the same. Normally when I pull them up they show $0. Now shows a discount only. Hope this is just a glitch
