I hope to enjoy trying Oceania in a weeks time, but have a b2b in early September with Celebrity which I hope we will enjoy as much has last September, same ship and very similar itinerary.We have been Elite plus for the last 5 years and don’t think we will ever get to move up to Zenith,As for RCL we have enjoyed all our cruise with them as well.
  2. Our Reflection cruises in September(b2b)first one has availability but the second one looks very full.

  4. Thanks, for all your input! I have emailed ABTA and filled in their form.Received a confirmation that they have received it, so will wait and see.I’m very patient so won’t give up without a fight.
  5. When I mentioned the ABTA code to the lady this morning, she ignored what I said and said she was very busy, and was there anything else she could help with lol
  6. , Yesterday I had an email to tell me NCL would not help with refunding the flights as I had booked independent flights so must go through the travel insurance. I had already tried the insurance before I contacted the cruise line, insurance declined the claim and said NCL were responsible! Today I phoned Southampton office, the lady I spoke too said it was an insurance claim and they could do nothing.Very disappointing, I once had a cruise cancelled through redeployment this was with Celebrity my independent flights were lost that time as well.But Celebrity covered my loss.   7. I book all our cruises with four different brands direct so I can add days in the ports before and after the cruise.

  10. Just had a reply from NCL regarding the flights I have lost money on due to their cancellation of Epics cruise. They say to contact my insurance, as I booked the flights independently they do not hold any responsibility. My insurance says it’s the cruise line who have failed to provide a service so they are responsible! So same old situation as seen before, but NCL are members of ABTA so I have replied to their email to remind them of the code of practice.
  11. Yes I got the reply with the case number, will give them another few days to see if they get in touch,I guess they have been busy with the cancellation of the cruise.Never mind just over a week to our next one(Oceania) first time with them!
  12. Wonder if it’s worth trying to get in touch with them again? Hopefully they will give you some kind of refund for your flights, please let us know how you get on.Dianne
  13. Haven’t heard anything back from NCL since the email to say they received the form and I would be contacted within 48hrs this was 6 days ago! Have you heard anything more?
  14. Sorry, should read service provider not device provider, I have contacted both airlines and they will not issue future flight credit.+£500 out of pocket not happy with the insurance, they said it’s up to the cruise line to make it right.
  15. I thought the same, but received an email from my insurance today and they say no! Reason failure of device provider, I rang them to get a better explanation but the lady said it’s the cruise line who would need to compensate. Don’t think we have much chance with that! Looks like we are out of pocket.
  16. Got all my money back on my card! Never know it to happen so quickly, So. Booked flights and hotels today, for the extra trip in November. But hey need something for February/ March to make up for the cancelled one.
  17. I’ve just checked in for our cruise, there was a bit that said skip the photo so I did 😂I’ll let them do it at the peer!
  18. I have received all my fully paid up cruise money back on my card, I thought this would take weeks. A lot of cash so I have today booked my flights for the cruise in November, what’s left will pay the final payment on that cruise.Dianne
  19. I have completed the form and hopefully sent my booking details from both airlines, will wait and see! Not fair if we loose the flight money but haven’t heard if my insurance will cover this.
  20. That’s good to know, nearly every cruise I’ve been on does show your account on the tv.We like to keep track of transactions so hopefully no nasty surprises!Thanks
  21. Hi Guys, we are ready to sail our first cruise with Oceania. We are on Nautica is it possible to view your onboard account via the tv in your stateroom. Sorry if this has been asked before
