  1. This was the one we stayed at a few years ago. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g676072-d506952-Reviews-Centara_Grand_Beach_Resort_Samui-Chaweng_Bophut_Ko_Samui_Surat_Thani_Province.html
  2. Well, 1st time on Star Clipper and what a lovely way to travel. Peter the cruise director was excellent and very informative ( pay attention at lifeboat drill as you will be questioned on it ) The mix of passengers were mainly European and very well travelled and entertaining. We did our own tour in Penang with a local guide and driver ( around £60 ) for a very enjoyable tour of Georgetown of around 4 hours. The ships excursions were possibly a bit over long and padded according to those who went on them. The food and drink were excellent, and all of the crew were great wit
  3. Hi Purley, We stayed in the Central Samui, located on the beach and about 20 minutes from the airport. Poppies is another hotel with very good food. Bophut on the northern end is nice and a bit quieter than Charweng beach. We've just done the Southern Thailand cruise which was excellent.
  4. Anybody on this cruise on 18th January?
