Enjoy Nassau and your trip back to Bayonne.  Third time on Oasis.  First time approximately 3,000 in October, 2021.

Then 4500 in May.  Now 5800 in October.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Because of the kindness of all who started this thread, posted the activities, and yes even helped us with some answers my husband and I are now officially Elite plus with 756 points ( only 2244 to Zenith).  Not sure why I never received the emails from Celebrity but it was my fellow Cruise Critic friends that helped me get here.  I'll keep participating in the activities as long as you "kind folk" keep posting them.  Next booked cruises🏖️ January 2022 and looking forward to sailing with many of you. Enjoying a Captain and Coke to celebrate my new level😁.

Thanks for posting, Roked.  My husband and I are chasing one point to Elite Plus.  I've signed up at least four times for the PUP points.  We're at 749 points and counting!  I'm waiting on two points for the Turkey/ Greek survey and five points for the Galapagos seminar( which have not been posted to my account) but maybe, just maybe, this one point survey will push us over the top!!!! Thank you for posting!

Thank you😊 for posting the current activity.  I've signed up three times to get the power point activity but it doesn't help. I receive a welcoming offer to book a cruise but no Power Up activity.  I receive daily emails from Celebrity's marketing but no Power point one.  Cruise Critic people are kind enough to share and enable all of us to get some points.  After this my husband and I need two points to achieve Elite Plus.  So please keep posting the activity. I'd rather earn the points sailing but alas that can't be right now.

I found this thread yesterday since I hadn't been on Cruise Critic since January.  We were on Vision of the Seas from Jan. 25 - Feb. 15th.  Then we were on the Summit Feb. 15-March 7th.

During our last week of Feb. 29 th my husband came down with the runny nose,  sore throat, and cough.  But he slept it off and it didn't develop into anything serious.  The day before we left the ship I came down with the same symptoms.  The Sunday we arrived home I had a fever and felt horrible.  I had ER visits on March 9 and March 13.  Tests were run on the 9th and it was diagnosed as the rhino virus - the common cold.  No antibiotics given because it was viral.  My symptoms continued to get worse and on the 13th I was diagnosed with pneumonia and the

COVID-19 test was administered.  I was given two antibiotics the z pack and Augmentin, an inhaler, and cough medicine. I was very ill for about 10 more days. My breathing was impaired and I ran a fever for days.  I could only have a phone visit with my doctor because my test didn't come back.  She extended the Augmentin.  Days went by and I had no test results.  So I was on the phone being frustrated as well as being sick.  I finally got my results on Wednesday, March 25th.  The results were negative.  But I feel like Kdex my results are not accurate. 

As I read this thread I feel vindicated seeing that other people did test positive after sailing on the Summit.  I feel Celebrity should have to state that it did occur.  I appreciate the reports from Canada and the other people who posted.

I'm feeling better but I'm still gaining my strength back.  I still tire easily and nap often.  I'm not going out because of my weakened immune system.

We were in 7:00-5:00 pm. We started our tour at 8:00 and it was a 6+ hr tour including lunch.

So you should have enough time. Our guide saved Peggy's Cove for last and the crowds were gone but we spent the shortest amount of time here(about 20 minutes).

Hi! We just got off the Adventure and did an excellent tour with Halifax Titanic Historical Tours.

Last year we did Lunenburg and this time we did his city tour of Halifax. This was our third time with Paul. He does an excellent job and has good communication before the tour. This tour was the highlight of our cruise. You see and learn so much and the optional lunch is delicious with the freshest haddock I ever ate.

We used Paul McNeil for a tour of Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Peggy's Cove. We had an excellent time and he is a wealth of knowledge. He has different tours on his website.

Thanks for posting this. We love to sail out of San Juan and we are very excited that Freedom is sailing from there. By chance do you know what the second RC ship will be sailing from San Juan? Is it Jewel of Adventure or something different?

Hi! We received our 350 block yesterday. I did speak with Claudia the Loyalty Ambassador early this week.

Lunch for 340 and higher points was in the dining room and was very good.

So we're half way to Pinnacle.

We will be on Adventure for a back to back starting Feb.18. On the Feb. 25 the cruise we will reach 350 points.

On night 6, we attended the Top Tier party. I was actually surprising how well put together it was. Captain Shawn came and talked and the ballroom dancers also performed!

 

 

 

After dinner, we hung out at the Duck and Dog. It is our favorite place and is very good for people watching on the Royal Promenade :D

We booked with BioIsland in Fajardo. I do not think there is any type of tour that goes there. We have a rental car so will be driving ourselves. It was $52 pp and they have an online reservation system. They were about the only one I could find that did the boats instead of kayaks that we could drive too. I checked for reviews so we'll see how the tour goes.

 

I plan to do a review as well when we get back so will post on how the excursion was.

We are doing the Bio Bay tour but in the electric boats instead of the kayaks. We are scheduled for the 7:45 pm tour on Feb 13th. We are staying in Isla Verde for a week pre-cruise and will have a rental car and plan to go to the rain forest as well (been there several times, but our daughter and son-in-law have not). Thanks for the reminder about bug spray--would have forgotten that!!

Hi! Could you please post who does the electric boat tour.

We are staying at the Margaritaville Wyndham which is supposedly close to the bioluminescent bay. All I found so far is the kayak which we can't do.

Hi! Thanks for a great review. We are lucky to be hitting 350 points on our Feb 25th cruise. Did you attend the top tier party and did you notice if the Loyalty Ambassador presented the crystal blocks for hitting a milestone? DH wants to know if he should pack his sports coat. Thanks

No, two different ladies. The Serenade one in Feb. 2016 was Karen and the Grandeur one now in Dec. was Leyza. Neither were very helpful and needed to learn "people" skills.
