They won't do YTD. I'll just eat earlier and join them on some nights or for some part of their dinner so that we can spend time talking:)

The rest of my family is older and won't change;) I love the Any Time Dining, but they want late dinner scheduled. I want to make sure there is a seat at their table for me for the nights when I will sit with them so I am scheduled for late dinner. If I change to Any Time, then I won't have a seat at their table even if I choose to go for late dinner. I was just wondering if, on a few nights, I could go to the Any Time Dining room and ask if I could be seated if there was space for one person:)

I am going on a cruise with some other members of my family (three rooms total). They all like late dinner. On the last cruise back in 2019, we were not even eating dessert until almost 10PM on most nights. I cannot eat that late. I will probably eat earlier (on Lido) and just go sit with them in the MDR for the late dining. If I wanted to eat in the MDR earlier a couple of nights, would it be possible to get a table as a single diner around 6PM even though I technically have late dining on my reservation? Anyone know if it's a hard no or if it might be a possibility if I ask the hostess?
