Thought we would ask the wonderful experts on Cruise Critic their opinions.
We have been on a ton of cruises over the past 35 years. One of the aspects of cruising that we are unhappy with is the decline of the food, both quality and selection.
We have sailed primarily on Royal and whereas four out of five cruises that we booked in the past were on Royal that isn't the case any longer. Of the seven most recent cruises, two were on Royal.
The menus on some evenings have nothing that we are interested in and it becomes boring ordering from the same "every night" options. Going to the Windjammer also isn't very thrilling.
So, after that long explanation, we have booked the Unlimited Dining Package for an upcoming cruise. We don't like that we have to pay for meals that we are already receiving as part of our fare. And, the upscale restaurants, in our opinion have decreased in quality also.
We just want to hear other people's thoughts.
Thank you
