Soa Passes are limited. When they sell capacity they no longer show. Keep checking as they occasionally pop back up, like F2F.

I do massages frequently so deep tissue for me.
-
Nope. Booked ours. DIL went thru her last 4 cruises and no couples' massages were offered port day specials.
-
Got an offer today for December cruise 15% off spa treatments. Price is same as any resort, actually less than what I paid in July at a 4-day getaway. While they often discount on ship, items and time frames are often limited. Safe journeys
-
No they don't.
-
Same answers. People choose to cheat.

Nursemommy we've had the same on Carnival, Costa, Princess and NCL. Should I never cruise these lines? In fact we didn't sail Carnival for almost 20 years because of 3 cruises in a row with staff not responding to major issues with passengers. Guess what, on Magic in December.
-
Well travel is the addiction for us, not necessarily cruises. Have 7, 10, 14 days coming up in December. Did 1 last year 1year before, skipped 2years before that. we have done 3 land trips to Europe and Dubai this past year. Sometimes it's just what we want to see, or
go back and spend some time at. Cruises for us now 68,69,70 coming up, are more about relaxing on the ship. Don't have any booked past December but who knows? Just love new places and old memories. Big world out there to see.

DirtyDawg..and Finland. Don't forget the Finnish people.
-
And compared to other lines suite perks are practically non-existent. Why we do Spa Balcony, not enough value for $ for us.
-
We've actually seen people pulled aside numerous times. Last December guy was giving security a ration of crap. Best 3 second take down I've seen in years
-
Csoud, not the way it works.

Another vote for expanding your cruising horizons. With nearly 70 cruises under our belts we decided years ago to not fall into the trap if "my cruiseline is_________". We will be on 3 different lines this winter. Each line has it's own personality with each ship it's own identity. To limit oneself to one line is like saying you only eat hotdogs. Big world out there, so go and explore. Safe journeys:cool:

We're curious also.. very little information available and what I've found is mostly from 2012-2014

Believe spa services are discounted for pre-purchase, passes are not considered a service.
-
OP, they are for a specific day. Please remember, quantity is controlled and day passes are allotted depending on amount of weekly passes. If their quota is maxed then only a handful of daily passes will get sold.
-
Anyone that says people give gifts to others to make them feel better about themselves is needlessly judging others.
Believe it or not sometimes money isn't everything even when you are in need of it and in dire straights.
I can remember one of my students breaking down at a Christmas party explaining all she wanted was to be with her parents at Christmas (they had flown to India due to an ill relative and left her with close family) even though she knew they had scraped and saved to buy her an Ipad as Dad was out of work. I made sure she won the dance off and got muchos hugs ;).
Well I'm a shrink and I assure you that is a very large group. Safe journeys

Yes I know this, but the OP is alluding to 10% off the cruise, which I never heard of I funded my Cheers with AARP cards.
Not what OP alluded to at all.

Son and daughter in law on Silhouette past December in Aqua. Friends had 4 year old and could not book Aqua. They ended up in suite and fid BLU most nights.
-
MSC would provide an option with this - just be sure to check the policies and guidelines regarding bookings with this program.
And to be clear it is not just RCI that charges for children - as indicated most mass market cruise lines do. So if it is greedy, it is pretty much industry wide greed. This has evolved over the years and all still offer promo's from time to time regarding this.
But MSC is the exception - for now.........
Nailed it..for now.
-
OP,
Nearly all cruiselines charge "per soul". Any discounts are marketing only. Either book during a kids sail free or 3rd & 4th cruisers sail at a discount. Easy. To assail Royal for standard industry policy is a bit unfair. Safe journeys

Are you talking about Portland HeadLight in Cape Elizabeth? Answer would be no. you can Google Portland tour companies, there a reasonable local ones that will take you there. Also, try Lyft and do a prearranged pick-up. Beautiful spot

I've never met an adult male in my entire life who did not own at least one pair of trousers. LOL
OP: should he, probably not if you wish to comply with Carnival's recomnendations. Can he get by? M aybe maybe not, who knows? Take the chance of you so wish. Safe journeys

Jk666. All food services are considered MDR staff since they rotate all food venues, perhaps your wife misunderstood but I find it quite uncommon she would be told otherwise. Descriptions are quite clear on Carnival site in fact all mainline cruise sites how this is done. Lesson learned and hope others will also follow suit. Thank you for sharing your review and glad your family enjoyed your holiday. Safe journeys.
