Worth it for sure, wanted to spend more time in Alaska and it worked out very well.

And then we can talk about further reducing the price for Princess Plus and Premium for Elites by $5 per day for forgoing the minibar setup. ($70 value, 7 day cruise, 2 people in cabin). What’s that you say?  Some cruises are 15 or 30 days long? Yeah, it’s kind of like the two free casual dining meals per cruise, isn’t it, only in reverse. 

If this increase works for them next step is another increase. The value of elite keeps going down. Just a way for more people to get the drink package. Those of us who can no longer drink will have a hard time justifying plus or premium. 

Having the same show on three Royal class vessels can be good for Princess but do see it as a major disadvantage to me the customer.

We enjoy the production shows but for most of them there is a limit to how often we want to see the same ones. We will avoid the Sky, Discovery and Enchanted until they get around to changing production shows.

Will still consider the Royal, Regal and Majestic Princess.

Lots of other choices to be had.

Thanks for the info Bravo is one of our favorite shows and the others will be new to us.

Wonder why the three ships should have the same 3 shows? Do believe in the past they did not do that for the newest ships.

Last cruise on Enchanted had the same shows as Sky and would prefer seeing different shows next time.

On Enchanted TA bid for mini suite from Balcony. Got an email saying we were outbid and encouraged to up our bid. Website said no mini's available so I did nothing.

A week later got an email they accepted our bid.

Told wife shrugged our shoulders and said lets enjoy our mini.

Mostly a bunch of songs. Do like shows better when wr know the songs.

Could have should have but never occurred to me the two newer ships would have the same exact shows. 

We had M325 and M409 recently on a back to back.

You will be far forward close to the theater but further from other venues.

The balconies on the ship are very small. We were further midship but found our balconies very windy and often unusable.

On the Enchanted TA they offered a 50% discount for the May TA. When we checked with our TA they pretty much had the same price. Cabin price via TA a bit higher but the obc our TA offered made up the difference.

If we knew the two ships had the same shows might not have done Enchanted. Would have been good to know.

For some reason the Sky and Enchanted have the exact same shows. Would have thought the two ships would not have exact same ones but that is what they are doing.

Wish there was place to find out the shows on each ship.

Rock opera and muppets were fine but have seen 5 skies enough for now.

They have been working on erecting this Christmas tree all week in Plaza del Sol.  I don't think we will see it finished before we leave Sunday morning.

 

 

Hmm wonder if bakery was open when we came here on our honeymoon many years ago. Did buy a couple of paintings in the square. First and last bullfight we have gone too.

Sheila got covid a year ago on Sky TA. Came down with it first day of crossing. After self testing called medical dept guy came up and tested both of us, Sheila positive me negative. Offered some stuff to help with symptoms and offered me the choice of whether to quarantine with Sheila. Silly me said yes.

They had two sections for covid patients. Had a balcony before and had one for quarantine.

After that they came back once for Sheila to take her pressure and every few days to test me.

Room service young lady was great, we got pretty much whatever we wanted and she sent other stuff that she thought we might like.

Last morning they escorted us off the ship to a waiting taxi never did go thru customs.
