We used Belize Exotic Adventure. We went to Shark Ray Alley, Coral Gardens & Caye Caulker. It was AWESOME! We swam with sting rays & a lot of little sharks. I would highly recommend it. We got back with plenty of time to spare.

I'd like to know too! :)

We just got back from there & we used Belize Exotic Adventures. They were awesome!!! The tour leaves at 10:00am. So make sure you are there by then. We got there early & had to wait about 45 minutes for another family to come & they almost got left. We went to the Coral Gardens, which is about a 45 minute boat ride & then to Shark Ray Alley. The guides pointed out stuff on the way, etc. They were very informative. We then went to Caye Caulker to have lunch & explore. It was awesome! Very cool trip.

I will also mention there was 13 people in our group. One of our guides stayed with my mother in law during the snorkeling at the Coral Gardens, which was a little choppy for us. The Shark Ray area was fine. You can stand up in the waters there. I did ask our tour guide about Goff's Cay & he said it is very small & not much there.

We just got back and we booked an excursion with Belize Exotic Adventure Tours. It was awesome! I would highly recommend them. We went snorkeling at the Coral Gardens & then on to Shark Ray Alley. After, We had about an 1 1/2 at Caye Caulker to explore and eat lunch. It was a quaint little beach town. We walked down to the split & there is a little beach bar with music playing & a lot of people hanging out & swimming. I would go back there again. It was actually the highlight of our trip.

I ended up booking with Belize Exotic Adventures. I'm curious also, what private tour you used. Thank you.

We did the Chacchobben Ruins last time around. It was nice, but I got kind of bored honestly after a while. My kids did too. We are going to Tropicante this time around. It's free & we have the option to buy lunch/drinks.

When we were there about 2 years ago, we did see 2 topless women. My kids still talk about it. They were 12 & 9 at the time. With that being said, I don't think it is a regular thing.

Thank you!!

We are leaning towards the sharks & rays too. Looking also for some reviews or input. Thanks

Thank you!! Was it crowded at the AG when you went?

I actually sent them an email today, wanting to get some information. Their website was no longer available. I'll let you know if I hear back.

Thank you for the info. How much was the chair rental at AG?

Has anyone done the Sharks, Rays & Island Getaway on NCL? Looking for some input if it was worth the money or not?

I found a tour group Toucan of Costa Maya that does parasailing. I don't know anything about it though. We'd like to do this too.

Not sure if this is on here because it's so long, but I brought an over the door shoe holder. It worked great, we used it to store shoes, lotions, hair straigtener, receipts. I also would defintely bring a power strip cord. Bring your own cokes if you don't mind carrying them on board. We had no problems bringing Pepsi on board when we stopped in the ports. It saved us alot of money!

I like to go through the coupon books given by the ship pre-port and see if there are coupons for shirts or hats for a dollar or free. They make great souveniers for the grandkids.
I bring some sandwich baggies and order sandwiches from room service so I can take them with us when going to port.
I ask people to take our picture with our camera using the ship photographers backdrop when it's set up but not in use (I'm not proud).
I once took a van in Ketchikan marked FREE SHUTTLE TO WALMART and got a free tour of ketchikan. lol While at Walmart I bought some snacks.
I use a carry-on size suitcase to take waters and a few sodas on board and then use the carry-on to bring back souveniers.
I "try" to stay out of the casino.
I stay out of the specialty restaurants.... I've tried some and they are not better than the regular dining rooms.
There's probably more ways to save that I practice but that's what comes to mind right now.
I love the free tour on your way to Walmart!

This is great to read. When I mention that I went on my first cruise-Dolphin Cruise Line. People think I am making it up. I had a good time. It was back in the early 90's out of Miami. We went to Cozumel & Key West.

Not once did they rush us. We had a few hours until we got back on the ship. The boat was small. We were with another family. Maybe 10 of us. I don't think it was covered. Here is my review on tripadvisor.
This was by far the best shore excursion of our trip. The guides were awesome! We had to wait a little bit for some other members of our group to show up, but once they got there we were off. The boat ride was about 45 minutes to the Gardens, which was pretty cool. Everyone had life jackets on & they even guided my mother in law in the waters, which were a little rough. Then on to Shark Ray Alley. We saw a ton of sting rays & some nurse sharks. Got to touch them up close. We then went to Caye Caulker and ate lunch and walked around the town there. It was pretty cool. We also went to feed the tarpons too. They were very informative about the area and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend them.
