  1. You forgot the mascot, the Club Orange Bird.
  2. One little tip - It's not going to be as efficient for you, but I think the results will be better When you are posting questions, shoot for one or two in a topic rather than a barrage of everything that you want to know at once. It's easier for people to answer when your questions come in bite sized chunks. This is especially true when someone is typing on their oh-so-tiny phone keyboard. Granted, there will be those people who will not answer your torrent of queries but instead give you advice - sage, one might say - that is kinda sorta related, but doesn't really address a single one of your questions.
  3. It's not excluded by the terms and conditions but I haven't seen anyone say that they did it. Probably would not hurt to check.
  4. The first thing I thought of when I read this is that you need to write up a "Dummy Bookings for Dummies®" tutorial.
  5. I think finding an answer quickly, efficiently, and correctly requires more than one approach and sometimes more than one source. For example: If I want to know about the specifics of my reservation, like payment dates or OBC, I'd ask my TA or PCC. If I want a specific policy, I'd ask for a link to the HAL site. If I want recommendations for an excursion or what to eat at a specific dining venue, I ask here. While a TA or PCC or the super user-friendly HAL site can be good resources, some things are best asked of the HAL CC community. There's no way the other three sources can match the breadth & depth of hundreds of users. (Possibly thousands, because I assume everybody wants to read the nonsense I write.)
  6. Thanks for your review and photos. There are not a lot of views from a family point of view, and yours is really helpful.
  7. The Ocean Bar and the Pinnacle Bar are closest. The Ocean Bar is probably your best bet. You can grab a walktail right before you leave for the dining room. That way, you don't have to worry about having a parched throat as you travel the many feet to your table.
  8. Ours was $50 for HIA+, but we booked under the early booking bonus. Even if it's an extra $5, it's still far less than the tips alone.
  9. As a special bonus for you, the new passport holder, you'll be receiving the fancy, new style passport with the cool plastic page insert! At no extra charge! (Unless you count processing time.) My passport renewed last year and I have the old style. My wife's renewed this year and she has the luxe new kind. It'll be nine years of hanging my head in shame because of my inferior passport. You won't have that problem, because yours will be the awesome new style! 🛳️
  10. We just booked the 9 day for late March - because we think it's a great itinerary. I guess it's a case of different strokes. The 2x two sea days are a plus for us.
  11. Odds are that your email is linked to more than one Mariner #. Your PCC or TA can probably fix it. Or, if you are a fan of bouncy hold music, you can try the Mariner Society.
  12. In the Navigator app, click on My Account (little head icon) on the bottom right corner of the screen. Then, once you are on the Account page, click Bookings. The page is "stateful" so you may have to scroll up to see the newest bookings. Apologies in advance for the poorly redacted image. My phone & fat fingers aren't the best at editing.
  13. This has happened to me several times, too. My posts were straight up, normal answers to questions.
  14. The tote bag. It's all about the Orange tote bag. 😉
  15. Your best bet would be to call your TA or PCC. The department that deals with accessibility should know what to do.
  16. If you see the correct information on the screen but it prints incorrectly, it's a printer driver problem. There's a technical fix, but it might be easier to reboot, restart the printer, and print the tags first thing.
  17. Paper... antiquated? Say... You must be from outside the core demographic. 😉
  18. IIRC, the deck 4 verandahs are a teeny bit deeper. Probably not enough to make a big difference. Deck 5 has passenger decks above & below, but 4 is over the MDR so it probably doesn't matter.
  19. Your PCC or TA can add HIA for you if it's not showing on the website. On our upcoming cruise, HIA didn't show up for months. Now it's on the trip page all the time - despite the fact that we bought the EBP standalone. The only exceptions are certain fare codes that aren't combinable with HIA. @DaveOKC
  20. You can ask for better liquors on either plan. HAL has to pretty reasonable alcohol prices. As long as the liquor cost is under your limit, you can have a "call" brand. If the cost is over your limit, you can pay the difference.
  21. You can use the multiple device plan. The logins will be the same, I think.
  22. I am the choir, unto whom ye shalt preach
  23. In all seriousness, I was trying to to figure out how to cross control freak with tight was and it keeps coming up Welsh. (For the record, these are my people on my father's side.)
