Actually, I think that you have much more wasted food with self serve. We’ve all see those folks who pile their plates high with everything imaginable, take a few bites of each item then leave. The wastage is horrendous. If someone else is handing you food, you will tend to downsize and choose only what you really want. Also, you’ll not be taking the other guy’s germs from the serving spoon back to your table.
Ha! What you described is my WORST nightmare

Interior 2 passenger Cabin

Seems what looked like a mini sofa in the renderings is an ottoman 😂

We have had this many times, especially last year on the CB when Noro was everywhere.
It works fine and helps not spread illness.- 9

It looks more like what Holland America has with its distant lands.
it works quite well on Holland, less lines in fact

Anyone who books interiors, it seems they brought back the outer bunkbeds instead of the ceiling ones on Sky and Enchanted.
Something to watch out for.

But with the frustration the OP is experiencing.
The TA earned a commission. They should be helping when he's obviously having difficulty.
Agreed

Why isn't your TA handling this for you?
Travel Agents aren’t necessarily a necessity in 2024 when Princess “supposedly” gives you all the tools to book.

The reservations for The Sun don’t seem to be open as far in advance as other ships currently.
I’m sailing March 29th and they opened 2 days ago.
Be patient, they will open. -

I just looked at the Deck 8 American Diner menu, which apparently doesn't change all cruise. Yikes. I might enjoy that style of food occasionally, but not on a regular basis. Is Deck 8 the one that is only walk up? We were thinking of going that route, but not if we're faced with American diner food on a regular basis.
No.
That would be Deck 6 or 7

They are showing a White Medallion on my app for our upcoming cruise on the Coral....certainly not an inaugural cruise and I'm not a first time cruiser. So what gives?
Strangely, my hubby's is correct? The App has a glitch but it doesn’t affect your medallion or onboard status.
It will affect your discount for wifi if trying to purchase through the App w/o a pkg prior. (You wld need to call)You can call to have it fixed but it’s a PIA and doesn’t mean it won’t revert back to white in the near future.

10:30/11:00 is the norm for the Enchanted leaving from Port Everglades.
-Suites and Plat/Elite board together

The bars were removed from the casinos of the Enchanted and Sky

They will also serve scones, cream and jam in the Pastry area of the buffet on Sea Days

The point is that there are alternate routes to fulfill some of what the package provides, even for new cruisers.

Well for every scenario there is another scenario! Take my calculation for 2 Elite cruisers - not big drinkers, don’t like coffee.
24 pack of water delivered to room ordered prior to cruise. $7 (let’s just call it $1 day for 7 day cruise)
20 Diet Cokes to replace Elite mini bar - free
1 device WiFi w/ Elite discount $12.50
Glass of wine with dinner - $11 (yes, I’m basic)
Two cocktails at Elite lounge (2 x 😎 - $16
Couple of sodas or water in addition to what we already have - $6
Gratuities for 2 - $32
Total actually spent for two - $78.50
Package price for two - $120
This would be a sea day. Likely less on a port day as we prefer to dine and drink in port to fully experience our time there.
But apparently I’m “dumb” and “cheap” and “tiresome” for pointing out that the magical Princess packages don’t add up for everyone. Silly me. I can’t believe I’m so ridiculous as to not want to hand Princess an extra $300 per week of our cruise for all the fabulous benefits I’m not using. Really, I need my head examined!
All of this plus throw in Shareholders and OBC from a FCD and it’s even less likely a pkg is needed.

You can also bring with you a reusable cup. It makes it easier to carry drinks from the buffet and not be concerned about the expense.
Especially useful for Hot Drinks in an Alaska sailing.- 2

You can bring one.
It’s also possible to ask but that took a day to actually receive the last time I asked and it needed to be returned ASAP

How much is an Uber from London to Southampton then? I genuinely have no idea!
Approx £ 170-270 depending on type of car for Uber
£300 for a taxi

Hi everyone! Have a family cruise on the Majestic princess coming up the end of June to Alaska and while I know that there is tons to do, tons to see, and a kids club... There will still be times when all the child (10) wants to do is chill and play Minecraft or something 🤣 my question is do the TV's have HDMI inputs that devices can be hooked up to to view on the big screen? My son has a switch he will be bringing and the big screen means he could play there more and we can join in more easily for a little family Mario kart if the mood strikes.
Yes. Some are just more difficult to reach than others.
