What if I wanted a unobstructed balcony..cost pls

Looking at the Majestic Mexico Cruise & Vegas Pkg for Nov 20, 2024. With a best bet package from Vancouver to LA flight with overnight hotel, then 10 nights on the cruise, returning to the port, then shuttle to Vegas for 3 nights for $4254 Canadian $, then flight to Vancouver with an obstructed balcony. Seems like a great deal, but what would be the obstruction and is it worthwhile. Always had a full view b 4. Comments pls.

No one has mentioned the cruise line bus/shuttle. For solo passengers, it would probably be a little less expensive, but not for more than 1 person. I was charged in Canadian dollars for my solo trip to LAX, knowing that the bus stops at terminal 1, then 2, and so on till I get to Terminal 6. I want to disembark and head for the airport asap.

What is the current price of a 500 ml water bottle including tax onboard,?

I thought about bringing empty water bottles as well but concerned that they would crush in my luggage

Both of us do not drink alcohol or soda, so a package is not suitable for us. In July we put in our shopping cart a few cases of water, and did not want to prepay which was a mistake. That being said, after all the posts on this topic, I thought I would take a chance and call customer service, with no expectations on honoring the original order. I spent several minutes with the rep, and argued the point that I preordered and wanted to pay the original amount. I tried to speak to his supervisor, was put in hold and he would not transfer me. He said that Princess could change prices whenever they wanted, unless payment is made prior to a change. The point here is if everyone who is not satisfied with the new price, just call customer service and make your point....the more pax that do this, the more likely they will reduce the price..just hoping, though. In the meantime, I have put one case in my shopping cart only, and will pay just before the cruise and will refill each empty bottle...will take a small funnel to make transferring easier..

When going to the bar, can they fill my drink with my own insulated glass?

If you want an inexpensive place to stay, with no frills attached, and free continental breakfast as well as free shuttle to the port, try Vagabond Inn....I have stayed there before and had no problems as it is quite a bit less expensive than others in the area. The good thing about it, is they have a fridge & microwave, where others do not....not the greatest reviews, but very doable\

The idea of putting it into my pocket probably is the best way to go...perhaps even put it in a zip lock bag which may make it easier to grasp...don't like the idea of spending addition $ on other options. Years ago they issued key cards that I put in my pocket..We kept it on the table close to the door, so just picked it up on our way out the door...thx for the suggestion.

I hate the thought of having it around my neck: every time I would bend over, it would get in the way. The idea of attaching it to my belt loop seems like the way to go. How would I attach it to the belt? i don't understand what you mean by attaching the watch band. Do you mean one has to buy a wrist band thing or can you attach it some other way?

I cannot give you first hand advice, but I would always get a cabin with cabins above and below me.

Good choice. Will follow your advice as we do all our meals in the buffet as well. Thinking of wearing masks as well.

Seems like no one recommends the Vagabond Inn, a place we have stayed at before and enjoyed our stay, without the bells & whistles of much more expensive hotels. Complimentary breakfast on Saturdays as well as shuttle to the port. We are staying there again for two nights. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

We always go to the buffet, as one can choose what and the quantity one wants to eat. We don't go to the seat down dinners, as we just do not like waiting for our food to be prepared, but of course it is fresher, but just like the idea of getting our food, eating, and leaving without being at the dinner table for an extended time. More casual dress as well and do not have to go back to our cabin to change. We never have a problem finding foods that we enjoy at the buffet. As a poster pointed out, the sooner you get there after opening, the better chances you will beat the crowd and get a good table. just our opinion

Can I just jump in here and ask a relative question? How much tip for breakfast that you have ordered the night before?
