Occasionally you can find a decent deal for Canadian residents. Look under "Deals" on the main HAL website and then choose Canada Super Sale. Offers change weekly. I haven't seen an offer that far out though, usually just a few months away.

We like the family OVs but no, there is no extra toilet.

As promised, the dailies. 7 days were northbound, turnaround day in Whittier, then a week southbound back to Vancouver.

Disembarkation wasn't too bad; had time for MDR breakfast before our colour was called. It was a nice sunny day flying home over the Rockies.

The cheese plate is DH's go-to for dessert most times. It has always been good! Neither of us had the lasagna so don't know about that. DH did try a pasta with meat sauce in the Lido one lunch time and said it was a very tasty sauce. The music venues did get crowded, but no worse than on other ships we've been on lately. I tried to find out what would be done with the former Lincoln Centre Stage area but no one knew or would say, other than some kind of reconfiguration involving the casino. The casino is wide open and directly across from the Billboard Onboard, so it could use a re-work in that area. My guess is nothing will change until the drydock in November. The Lincoln stage room was used for Art Auctions a few times. Other times people used it as a quiet reading room.

We said our goodbyes to our favourite waiters, Endri and Bambang. They have taken good care of us!

And we had the chef's parade.

I had the chicken entree, which was tasty and moist with a good gravy. DH had his favourite lamb shank. I tried the red velvet cake, it had nice cream cheese and white chocolate. DH had his usual cheese plate. 

I had the tomato soup and spring roll, DH had onion soup (too much bread tonight), and the salmon trio, which he liked. 

MDR tonight for our last meal.
