  1. I ask for the lobster roll to be served as a salad and order Seared Bronzino for my entree. Depending on my mood I'll have a glass, or two, of Cakebread Pinot Noir or the Rockbare Riesling to go with it.
  2. I see that as more of a reward than a risk. just saying
  3. Really, I thought that changed recently or was that only for Concierge Lounges?
  4. This is the Celebrity Board so what other cruise lines may do or not do does not really apply to Celebrity. Celebrity permits the use of OBC for additional gratuities.
  5. Yes, and not everyone of those post by yourself and others are in agreement. I have seen positive and seen negative post. One reports this is no longer there, someone else says yes it is there. Specifics regarding the Millennium would be appreciated. Generalities and comments without specifics are not helpful. So, in your observations, specific to Millennium what has changed between your most recent sailing and your previous sailing before this last one.
  6. No, you are not supposed to give your Elite Happy Hour drinks other passengers. You cannot use your beverage package to obtain drinks for others either.
  7. I think you are confusing "boarding" with arrival time. You are assigned an arrival time which is the time for you to show up at the terminal to begin check in. Boarding only begins once the ship has gone through the clearance process and receives permission from Customs and Border Patrol. There is no assigned time for boarding.
  8. I pre-booked dinner for two in the Tuscan Grill on our upcoming Millennium cruise for $49.99 each which, with the added 18% gratuity comes to $117.98.
  9. As @Happy Cruiser 6143 said, you need to be displaying signature. You need to go into your Account Settings --> Signature --> and enable display signatures.
  10. Correct, you cannot use OBC to pre-pay gratuties. Correct, you cannot use OBC to make deposits on future cruises. I have been able to do this in the past. I used my room key and logged into my account on a slot machine. (default password is your birth date). I then did a room charge for $$$ and used that money for a couple of spins on the slot machine. On one cruise I was able to cash out for the full amount of credit. On another cruise when I cashed out, only my winnings were paid out and the remainder of the OBC I had deposited was credited back to my on board account. As other said, this works on some ships and not on others. My most frequent use of OBC is for extra gratuties (tips) to staff on board who I see have gone over and above or stood out to us in a positive way. I have done this at odd times during a cruise and at the end of the cruise.
  11. Damn- too many choices. We a have a reservation for 150 on Day 5 of our upcoming Harmony cruise. I thought I knew what I wanted when I made the reservation but now I am no longer sure.
  12. I wonder if this was one big fake SMS scan validating people's phone numbers for future messages with links to click on to plant malware on their phones. I did not receive one but the responses people are reporting seems suspicious to me.
  13. That is correct for Diamond C&A members. The free bag does not kick in until you become Diamond +
  14. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-dining/coastal-kitchen @Ret MP My friend one thing to keep in mind is that Junior Suites are only permitted into Coastal Kitchen for dinner. Junior Suite guest are not permitted for breakfast and or lunch as you said yourself. Pinnacles can dine in CK based on availability. From the above Web Site - Exclusively for suite guests and Pinnacle Club members, Coastal Kitchen fuses Mediterranean influences with farm-fresh flavors from California. Additionallly, Pinnacle's have access to the Suite Lounge, which on Oasis Class ships shares the same space as Coastal Kitchen, so any Pinnacles that are not sailing in a suite may be using the CK entrance to get to the lounge, instead of crossing to the other side of the ship to use the lounge entrance. I know a lot of things have changed since 1/1/2023 but on our last sailing on Quantum, a couple who we make friends with were Pinnacle sailing in a balcony stateroom. We talked to them about Pinnacle and access to Coastal Kitchen. They had spoken with the Maitre'd on day 2 and were told they would be welcomed to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in CK due to low number of suite guest using CK. With the exception of lobster night and embarkation day lunch, we never saw CK more than about 2/3rds full on any day/night of our B2B. So my final take is this - If you are not Pinnacle and are sailing on Oasis or Quantum class ships and want guaranteed access to CK, book at least a Grand Suite. Otherwise, you take your chances in a Junior Suite and settle for dinner in CK when available.
  15. This page was accurate as of our sailing in August/September on Quantum. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/12/22/everything-you-need-know-about-the-bionic-bar-royal-caribbeans-harmony-of-the-seas
  16. So did a lot of others. This is the third topic for that same message.
  17. Damn, we are feeling left out -- nothing in email, on the app, or text message. Guess we will have to wait until we are onboard Harmony on 2/18 to complete the muster drill.
  18. Why start a new one -- we already have this one.
  19. I guess I am alone in my feeling that people should always stick to the topic. If I want to read about Princess, NCL, or other cruise lines, I'll go to their cruise critic area. I come to Celebrity to read about Celebrity. I come to PUP to read about PUP. I appreciate the ability on CC to ignore and or skip over topics that are of no interest to me.
  20. Sorry, I do not recall. At the time of our sailing with Hilario the crew was not permitted to leave the ship. As I recall he said any gel would be okay so we picked out one from the three offerings the drug store had and he seemed pleased with our choice.
  21. I no longer pack a tie with me when we sail. I typically wear jeans/docker's during the day and dress pants at night. During the day I'll wear a polo shirt or the occasional t-shirt. At night it is a long sleeved or short sleeved dress shirt. Depending on the itinerary, I may bring a sports coat. Our next cruise is 15 days and I plan to take full advantage of our free Elite bag of wash and fold laundry service and will have dress shirts and dress pants put through the regular laundry at least once.
  22. We love it when people decide to dine in Murano or Tuscan Grill the first night. We always go to Luminae for lunch and dinner the first day and the more suite passengers that eat in the specialty restaurants the better for us.
  23. I am not sure I get it. If a note of any kind is given if the receiver does not like it or takes offense they can simply throw it away.
