We go to a bar before heading to cabin each night and get all vouchers drinks in sodas, beer and soda water. Keeps the frig full and often overflows onto counter top. -

I get it! My wife also prefers diet dr pepper, but would rather enjoy a coke zero than carrying on drinks. Each to his own. Enjoy your cruise.

With your kiddos, pick Royal. They also have ABC cruises. We just got back from one on the Explorer.

Some ships offer a play area certain hours in a meeting room. Staff brings toys for the kids but they do not stay to supervise. Some days it's just you and your children or grandchildren because it isn't advertised. Check with guest services once onboard.

Both have their pros and cons. Do both sailings eventually, but start with ABC if you are beach lovers and or snorkeling.

Why? A ship with all passengers on shore is a beautiful place! And going on shore to see the same sights seen many times in the past is not appealing.

We like Dania Beach. Lots of restaurants in walking distance of Hyatt, Marriott, etc. Uber was $35 and we got there right at our check-in time. Shuttles stop other places and you do not have the control like with Uber.
