  1. Do you board from the port or starboard side? Also, which deck do you board on? Thank you. Yancycruiser
  2. I presume there is no reservations for any of the regular shows shows in the Coral Theater. How about the shows on ice in the Center Ice Rink? Tickets or reservations required? Thank you, Yanceycruiser
  3. Which side of the ship and which deck do you board on the Adventure of the Seas out of Port Liberty? Thank you, Yanceycruiser.
  4. Thank you Clarea. Can I expect lots of traffic coming down the halls on Deck 7?
  5. We are booked for the Allure of the Seas in a couple of months and our cabin is at the back of the ship on deck 7. Does anyone know if the access to the rock climbing wall is on deck 7 on the Oasis Class Ships and will the climbers come down that deck to access it? Thanks in advance for any information. YancyCruiser
  6. I did not read any of the posts - just responding to your question based on our experience. Been on 21 cruises and never got sick. Both wife and I carry hand sanitizers all the time and are very carefully to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and after every meal. Do this and you will have a better chance of not getting sick. Good luck and have a wonderful cruise.
  7. Thanks to all of you who commented. We plan to go ahead and book one of those.
  8. For those of you who have been in the aft section of Carnival, here is the question. We are considering cabins 2489 or 2464 which is located under the dining room. Any issues with noise, especially after 10 p.m.? Thanks in advance for your comments.
  9. I have been watching the shore excursion offerings for New Orleans mainly interested in the FTTF. For several months, Carnival stated, "We are still scheduling shore excursions for this port." Then last week, Carnival stated, "We currently do not offer excursions in this port." Anyone experience this before and does it mean for this particular sailing there will be no excursions (including FTTF) for the day of sailing out of NOLA? Thank you,
  10. All good suggestions from posters. I have stayed at several hotels providing shuttle service to the cruise port. One very important thing to ask is, "what time does the shuttle leave and when can I sign up for the time I want?" Many hotels do not begin their shuttle service until 10 or 10:30. If you like to arrive earlier, like I do, then you may want to get a taxi and the cruise port shuttle may not be important to you. Whatever you do, it will work out and you will have another wonderful cruise.
