Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thank you all so much!! 🙂
  2. We're booked on the Jubilee in May and I was of the impression that transportation to/from the port was included from either our hotel or the airport. I just got off the phone with Carnival & they said that transportation is only to/from the airport and they will not provide transportation from/to a hotel.....Is that correct? 🤔
  3. On Saturday I noticed that Cucina was showing as an option to book for our September cruise. Then when I went to book, it errored out on me. Since then, it's magically disappeared. Ji Ji is also in there but...Sold Out of course 😜 And we also have Chef's Table as an option, but I do not need to do that again. I just keep checking as often as I remember 🙂
  4. We booked a casino offer on a GTY balcony about a month ago for a September cruise on Venezia. I was a little shocked that our cabin was assigned last night. Unfortunately, it was a cove balcony on deck 2 across from the elevators. We probably should have waited, but hubby saw the location and said "Upgrade to the suite" It was a gamble going with a guarantee, but we were willing to give it a shot.
  5. Us too....We cruised on the Miracle in February and when the casino opened, I was given my $1000 Fun Play money in cash. We're cruising on the Miracle again in 2 weeks, so I'm hoping it'll be the same 🙂
  6. In another thread someone mentioned that the perks for Journey's Elite cruises were different. Can anyone share the differences? Thanks in advance!!
  7. I'll add that we're Valerie & Gary 🙂 Also, we could use some recommendations for a pre-cruise hotel. We've never been to NYC (aside from flying through JFK) We have the elite transportation to/from the port, but would love to hear peoples' favorite places if anyone cares to share 🙂
  8. 14 night Hawaii cruise out of Long Beach. DOU throughout the whole ship, $1000 in free play, $100 pp stateroom credit in an Ocean Suite. The total was $372.40 (taxes & port charges) We have the same deal for our Alaska cruise in June We also just booked an Elite offer of 15 nights on the Venezia in a free balcony with DOU throughout the whole ship, $500 free play with all the Elite perks for the cost of port charges & taxes. LOVE the casino offers 🙂
  9. Just booked today with a fantastic casino offer & St. Lucia is on my bucket list It'll be me & hubby celebrating his birthday & our 33rd anniversary & coming from Arizona 🙂 Thank you John for all of the wonderful info you've shared & Good luck with the biopsy!
  10. We always tip $100 in cash when they introduce themselves (on top of the pre-paid), They work way to hard to get the paltry pre-paid grats (if they even get all of them)
  11. We were on the 2/14 Miracle sailing and there was so much pot smoking on the balconies. I was honestly stunned, because while I have no problem with people partaking legally....On the ship was just really not good. As a side note, we also smelled cannabis vape pens in the casino & nothing was said to anyone in any area it was coming from.
  12. Okay...I will share ours. We're cruising next month on a bounceback offer after our cruise last September. Hubby isn't a big drinker, so we didn't get cheers and that we pretty much gor all drinks free in the casino after the first night. However, since returning, I've had a ton of offers and the offers didn't apply to our February cruise. So, we removed me from the suite we were booked in and booked a separate balcony cabin in my name only that came with all the offers. Free drinks throughout the ship, onboard credit & free casino play) It worked our well and if hubby snores too loud, I can send him to the other cabin 🙂
  13. I concur with Raise if you're not AARP. But don't buy the "used" cards. Buy them directly from Raise & get the 8% back
