I would call Viking and give the you booking # and ask if you by waiting until the final payment is due will only cost you the $50. MY guess is that is correct, but my experience has not been good when it comes to their practices. Get the name of the person you speak to and have them put it in writing.

We are going on our first Viking Ocean cruise on the Orion in March 2024. We must pay 100% of cruise fare by Feb 27, 2023 - a year ahead. Yet I find that there is no info as to the cost of their various shore excursions and won't be able to see them until December 2023. Very disconcerting. Since you have been on several cruises with them, what is their pricing like? It seems they give first opportunity to those booked in higher cabin categories? Thanks for any insights you can give me.
