Doesn't quite make sense.

So... we have a 10-10:30 boarding time in Galveston Sat. on Vista but we're not sure if we will make it in time. If we are late, do we skip the line and go on through or get stuck at the back to the line for the next boarding time? Thanks!

I'm seeing conflicting information regarding pre cruise testing for Carnival. The Carnival webite says no tests starting Sept. 6th but I see other posts that no tests are effective now. So which is ig?

My understanding is that no tests are required from Sept. 6th onward based on the Carnival website...

Sailing on the Vista in September and the first night we are going to eat at the steakhouse. However, the MDR dessert that night is tiramisu (which I love and rarely get to eat except on special occasions). Sooooo... I'm wondering if I ask really nicely if I could possibly get the MDR dessert instead as nothing on the steakhouse menu really appeals to me? Major first world problem! I guess I could always go down the MDR and request it to take to my room.

I had no idea they were different lobster species. Interesting.

Doesn't one lobster taste the same as another? I think you get a bigger portion in the steak house perhaps. What is the difference as you describe? Thanks!

Log on to your booking on the Carnival website then choose Cruise Manger / Specialty Dining / Chef's Table. You can then pick the day of your choice on the dropdown menu on the right. We are cruising on Sept. 3rd on the Vista and have booked our Chef's Table. Looking forward to it!

Me too! I bring a long a small soft side cooler with me and kindly ask the bartenders fill it with ice. I typically put my beer in the freezer for an hour or so before I drink them to get them cold enough for my liking.

Just wondering if anyone else will be on this sailing? My husband, his sister, and some friends will all be sailing together. Never went on a cruise with anyone other than he and I so it should make for some fun!

On the first day of our last Carnival cruise in 2016 out of Galveston, they could only sell 12 oz beers until they got into international waters or something of that nature. Does anyone know if that is still the case? I also heard they have switched from 16 oz aluminum bottles to 16 oz cans if anyone can comment on that.

The last time we cruised with Carnival we got our Sail and Sign cards at the terminal check in location. I've heard that now you don't get your S&S Card until you get to your room. Is that true? I've also heard that it won't work until you attend the muster drill. Anyone experience this recently? We are leaving the 3rd of Sept. and can't wait! Thanks!!

I'm sure this has been answered before but I'm just wondering if our booking is associated with the rest in our group if we will be automatically seated together in the MDR?
