Don<t worry. Some passenger (wo got the free air package) who just did the Hawaii-Polynésia 12 days cruises did worst. NCL flew them from Montréal to Paris - then Paris to LAX - then LAX to Polynesia. Close to 28 hours. It's all done automatically with the cheapest flights available.

We did Wind Spirit in Tahiti in 2017 (amazing). For 2024 we checked PG, Aranui, etc and O seems to have pricing (and # of days) closer to what we wish this time around. If the demographic for O at this destination is similar to WS, then we're happy. Snorkling, hiking, cycling and jetskying is our thing :-)

We've been to Polynesia a few times (Wind Spirit, then a few time by ourselves). We wanted to go to the Marquesa an Fakarava. Anyone been to Polynesia with Oceania ? We're in our mid-50 and active. What type of passengers should we expect. Thanks a lot :-)

I remember reading on this forum about a cruise in january a few years back where it was a total disaster weather wise. But as mentioned above, you can't predict weather. And in all honesty, I feel for the resident over there when there are flooding and other weather related events. -

Sorry, we just got back and saw your email. We were in Bora Bora July 4-8. We saw the Heiva 2X in Bora. I did not see anything for Moorea. It was fantastic as usual :-)
