  1. We have been booked into Shula's Hotel and Golf Course in Miami lakes for our trip in July which is a first. Usually its been the Intercontinental.
  2. Someone went to the Guardian on this. https://www.theguardian.com/money/2019/mar/20/amsterdam-p-and-o-cruise-berth-moved-bus Seems they didn't get anywhere.
  3. The last two times I was at the Holiday inn they had the barriers fitted the first time and not fitted the second time. Charged us a fiver for a nights stay which I thought was a bit high.
  4. I managed to order some over the weekend, 12 bottles was £5.38
  5. We had a Dreamliner going out and a 767 on the way back. Our return plane got nicked to get the people who should have flown home on the Friday get back on the Saturday when theirs had issues.
  6. There is a long discussion about this on the Princess boards. Basically if you have a surge protected extension it can overheat as the grounding is to the ships hull rather than "earth". There have been instances of small fires starting by the surge protector overheating as the current is not going to earth. There are marine approved extension leads available but you would still be going against the rules by taking one aboard.
  7. We got our cabins assigned about 3 weeks from sailing.
  8. Piraeus is actually quite a few miles from Athens, a bit like Southampton is nowhere near London.
  9. I'm guessing but if its two adults you both need to buy the drinks package anyway before you get the kids package which would not apply? Each adult assigned to the same cabin must purchase the Ultimate drinks package.
  10. We get 90 days Visa free travel according to the news today even if there is no deal.
  11. I'm glad they have done this, they are doing catch-up with all the other cruise lines. £40 a day is reasonable, its not just booze, its soft drinks, mocktails, coffees and juices. I can get my moneys worth quite easily without being drunk as some people are suggesting. On my last Princess cruise I got the same package for £51 a day, the £ to the $ made it dearer than it used to be. I welcome it.
  12. When I was on the Caribbean Princess recently I bought my FCD using the Ocean Medallion app, worked perfectly and no form filling out!
  13. That list would have come out pretty much the same if you had put the average price of a cabin in rather than the rating, apples and oranges. Pretty meaningless really.
