  1. We've cruise on the small and larger ships of Oceania, we prefer the larger ones as we enjoy the ship and like longer cruises. Since the ship is more important than the cities we go too, the ship becomes an important part of are cruise. Also we've always been asked the suite number at the all the restaurants on the ship.
  2. Looking forward to reading more of your post regarding your cruise--thanks for taking the time........have a wonderful cruise experience.
  3. I agree with above, although "O" should let you know--never depend on them always check as often as you can. You'll be surprise how often you'll find what you want open. It's not just "O" it's airlines, hotels and so many more companies.
  4. I've cruised Regent (8or9 times), one of the lines in the family--and just sitting in the Cafe the management staff if friendly, and stops a talks for a few minutes. Just a different feeling. I don't need that nor do I really want an in depth conversation with management. The other staff is excellent most of the time. I guess it's all about perception and the feeling you have regarding the whole cruise and staff.
  5. What really wrong, if you book a cruise and they add Oceania Club discount, you don't get it. They say you have a good price and no additional programs given. But the Oceania Club member isn't a promotion discount, it's a thank for being a member. It's not given to everyone and should be consider part of pricing or just don't offer it after listing the cruise.
  6. I agree, unfortunately Oceania management staff needs a course in Public Relations. I've never understood why they spend so much Advertising dollars to get you on the ship-up don't train management on the ship to get you back. A good experience with staff equals returns.
  7. I wouldn't change any dinner plans to attend one of these over crowded parties for a free drink. Just isn't worth being in a crowded room.
  8. We've cruised during the holidays and they do a nice job for the Holiday Meal. Only thing missing is leftovers the next day (which I really missed).
  9. I'd book what you can and waitlist for what you want....however the price could go up for the waitlist if it opens.
  10. For me in Toscana would be the Veal Chop Milanese and the Prime Rib at the Polo.
  11. Jim, enjoyed your post. Safe travels home and enjoy your other planned cruises. Thanks again for taking the time.
  12. Absolutely right, we always book air ourselves. That way we have control of are travel 100%, and like others we always go in 2 days early minimum (sometimes more).
  13. This is about the best answer yet! Couldn't agree more................
  14. Good for you, your liver thanks you🤗. Plus it's not just liquor, it also what you eat--A lot of people don't realize how much damage you can do to the liver and what happens when you have to try and get a new one during transplant.
  15. You should check with Oceania or your TA. OBC works for these classes, however I don't believe you can use "Excursions" OBC for the cooking class. (That was what I was told by Oceania.
  16. Nice, but you really have to see it in person (your self). I hope when we cruise the Seattle to Tokyo we get not see them. Sounds like you are having a fabulous time on the ship. Safe travels!
  17. Unless they changed things (and they may have) we never had to get a number ticket for tenders, just showed your key card. We were told to go to the front of the line, which I never would-but we really never had to wait until called.
  18. Thanks, we're all ready booked---in the cruise has already had a price increase since w booked.
  19. That is something I would love to see---no matter what time. But it would have to be for sure before I would stay up. But a wakeup call would be nice and I'm really enjoying your post.😆
  20. I agree, kind of useless---but I like them on a table. Usually at better restaurants they service the first course that is plated on them (and remove both when finished).
  21. A lot of the newer alcohol free wine are pretty good. We've found a few that make the wine and somehow take the alcohol out, taste is as good as regular wine. The one's one the ship, not so good...............
  22. Enjoying your post and the photo's. Looks great, and happy to see your greet and meet on the ship. We'll be getting on the Riviera next year (Seattle/Tokyo) in an Owner's Suite. I realize a lot of the amenities are the same along lines, but I do believe Oceania has the best suites. We've been cruising Regent and Silversea for a while and we are looking forward to are return to Oceania. We'll most likely book something before that trip, but haven't seen anything I really like out of a port we are near. Thanks again for sharing your trip.
  23. Some how and I have no idea how it happened but I was answering a deffent post. Sorry🙃
  24. NO, but theyshould have been able to get water down to the port area for all. Also the Hotel manager should be aware of all ship guest problems and be able to talk to the department head and if nothing can be done escalate it to the Captain.
