We sailed from Rome last month. The staff at the pier checked passports,scanned the barcode on our boarding passes and checked our negative test result paperwork as this was a requirement to visit Greece.No temperature taking or health questions.

We have the cancelled message against our drinks package too. Our TA advises that Celebrity are making changes to remove the elevate and indulge packages for future bookings but for existing bookings you still get the drinks package you opted for and shows on your invoice. Precisely. The reason Celebrity changed the 48hour rule to 2 day was for international guests.As long as the date on the test was dated 2 days before boarding regardless of time zones differences it was acceptable.

Thank you for pointing this out.I had made an appointment for a 9am test on a Wednesday morning before flying to Rome for departure time 5pm on the Friday . So if there isn't another change we will have to test when we arrive in Italy

Still very confused as our 10 night cruise,( after September 5 rule change ) from Rome has a Greek port so self tests are not permitted but can we now take a monitored test three days in advance or is it still two?!

You can also request an 'extra tips' form from guest relations to give outstanding/favourite crew members extra gratuities using any surplus OBC. This is then paid to them with their monthly salary.

A random question about the helipad sailaway.!!! We had invitations to attend on our last Reflection cruise and would have loved the experience but there was a stipulation regarding footwear requirements.As all I had packed were summer sandals we didn't go.Do you remember any guests in open shoes attending please?

We also have a late afternoon flight and will disembark as late as possible around 9.30am. We are staying in Civitavecchia before the cruise and our hotel has agreed to store our luggage post cruise for a few hours and organise the taxi to Rome airport from there later in the day. Previously we would have purchased the 'Extend your stay' package and remained on the ship for a few extra hours but this option is not available for the foreseeable future due to covid.

Elite gets you one item dry cleaned plus two items pressed. Laundry prices were ridiculous in February but as we had some OBC available it didn't hurt so much!!
