You don't mention what time you land at YVR, or your transportation to Canada Place, or your nationality, or your sailing time. So.... here's my general advice: allow at least an hour at YVR to clear immigration and get your luggage. Allow at least 35-45 minutes to get downtown (either taxi or skytrain). If you find a porter and drop your bags at Canada Place, plan on 1-2 hrs (when you return) to get thru check in, security, and US immigration. You must be onboard 90 prior to sailing. You do the math...
Do you have to be onboard 90 min before departure or just checked in 90 min before?

Our experience last year on a B2B with transit in Vancouver was not pleasant. Took more than an hour to get back on the ship after a day touring the city, even for transit passengers. I would not get too far from Canada Place with that many passengers on those ships. Get on the ship and enjoy a relaxing afternoon and admire the city from there.
What time of day were you trying to get back on the ship?

If you buy arcade credits online are they just added to your cruise card?

Is there a Starbucks on the Brilliance that offers drinks included with the refreshment package like on the Navigator?

What is the cost for a single mocktail with no package?

Learned something new. I thought the escape rooms were only on Oasis and Icon class ships, and that they are all different. Turns out, Navigator, Mariner, and Spectrum have them also and there's only 5 different ones.

thanks for the link guess there isn't one on the Brilliance.

You can’t buy the refreshment package on day 3 of a cruise.
When did this change we did it a few years ago.

Don't get hung up on %. The price changes daily. So the % off is irrelevant. Focus on price only.
But what is the daily cost to buy it on the ship itself?

Son is cruising the Brilliance of the Seas at the end of the month and he was thinking of buying the refreshment package on day 3 of his 8 day cruise. I noticed online it states it's 30% off if he buys it online. Is this correct so he wouldn't really be saving any money waiting to purchase it later in the cruise as he would be paying 30% more?

Was on the Navigator of the Seas last year and did the escape room and just wondering if the escape room is different on the Brilliance of the Seas before booking the room?

If you book with EZ Air don't they get you to the ships next stop if you happen to miss the boat? I booked with EZ Air for a quick little one hour flight morning of cruise from Edmonton to Vancouver. It's during the summer and there are a couple flights after ours that could still get us to the ship if there was a problem with ours. We always fly in a day early at least but since this is such a short trip I thought we would save on the hotel room and just fly in morning of using the EZ Air get you to the ship as our insurance. Is this correct?

LOL Thanks for the additional info. Another great Canadian tv show that I watched all the time was of course "The Beachcombers"

Why don't people recommend using the waterfront station on Howe St rather then Cordova St to catch the sky train to YVR?

Great thanks for the info. One of my favorite tv shows growing up was Danger Bay so would like to see the aquarium. Is there something other the FlyOver that you would recommend in the area?
-
We did this about 5 years ago I think we had to do it before the cruise was half over but can't remember for sure.

Gonig on the Royal Princess out of Vancouver on Jul 13th. Flight gets into YVR at 7:30am so thinking of catching breakfast at the airport then hop on the Sky Train drop off luggage around 9am then head out to do somethings around downtown Vancouver till 2pm (Three ship day so want to miss most of the chaos). Was thinking of going to the Aquarium and Stanley park and finish off with Flyover at Canada Place.
How long does Flyover take?
Any other recommendations of things to do in the downtown area?
What is the earliest we can drop off bags?

If you are only doing uss arizona , tickets are now available for that day and they say allow 2 hours, if you are looking at full experience usually that is 6 hours minimum
What would the full experience include and do you buy separate tickets for each thing?

Would there be enough time to see Peral harbor if flying into Honolulu from Maui around 9am on embarkation day? If so what's the best way to do this? Cruising on the Brilliance of the Seas Apr 28th a Sunday.

The Brilliance and it's a 8 day cruise what would be the last day to purchase? Can you just buy it from a bar or do you have to go to guest services?
-
Can you buy the refreshment package a few days into the cruise, or do you have to buy it on day one? Do both people in the cabin have to buy it or can just one person buy it?

Which one has reserve class? Is it better to avoid that one?

Just wondering if one of the main 3 dining rooms is nicer than the other two?

Doing a family cruise to Alaska on the Royal Princess to Alaska this July with family. How do I set up 2 tables of six next to each other for the entire cruise at the same table and time each night? Is one of the restaurants nicer than the others?
My sweet son is working in Icy Strait Point this summer. Who wants to go hug him for me??

How about instead of hugs people bring him his favorite chocolate bar or something like that? He could share with his coworkers so they would all be happy when a bunch of strangers stop buy and give him a treat. I know this brings up the whole candy from stranger's thing but if the people giving him the candy said his name and his moms name it could work?
