We had it this week as well. Have to say I didn’t love it as much as I anticipated. There was something about the sauce that I wasn’t fond of and I felt like it overwhelmed the lobster. My husband had the fillet and it was amazing as were all the other dishes. This has been a great cruise so far… over too soon.

Ok, y’all have me very paranoid. Just ordered trackers for our cruise that leaves Saturday!! 😄

Getting so excited… One week from today we will be sailing on the Apex! Wondering if the bathrooms on board have a retractable clothesline in the shower area? If not, suggestions on where to let bathing suits dry? We’re in a Sky Suite if that makes a difference. Thanks!!!

We will be arriving in San Juan on the Apex around 3 o’clock on Easter Sunday. Will things be open or does everything shut down for Easter? Conversely, are there any celebrations or anything interesting that happens Easter Sunday afternoon/evening? Thanks!

I’ve read through all of these posts in one sitting and really enjoyed them… felt like I was right along with you and am now even more excited to board the Apex on April 8th. But I have to know… What’s the story with the drinks tray??? Did I miss it somehow?? Safe travels home and thanks for sharing your trip.

I love the thermal suite, but we have found we just don’t use it often enough to get value for the price of a weeklong pass. Do they sell day passes? If so, how much are they for the Apex? And are they available on sea days? Thanks!

I just looked at the menu from Blu in our upcoming sailing on the Apex and it was listed on the kids menu. Did not see a kids menu listed for Luminae or the main dining room.

Quick question.. was the lounge chair already on your balcony or did you have to request it? You’re getting me so excited for our trip on Apex in April!

We booked directly from their website. Overnight on April 7 before our cruise on April 8th.

Are there water taxis from the cruise ship dock to Nevis? I’m seeing some conflicting information.

Just realized there are FIVE ships in port when we visit St. Kitts. Thinking that Nevis/ Sunshine’s might be our best option with Marriott as the alternative. How likely are the cruise ships to have excursions over to Nevis? thanks. ann

Will you report back if you end up there? We’re trying to decide between that and the Marriott for our April trip. Pretty radically different experiences I know. In some ways, Discovery is more appealing. But at the same time, the thought of porta potties…. Mmmm. Not so sure. thanks. Ann

Just checked.. our April cruise has gone up again. Price for a Sky Suite has increased by almost $4,000 since we booked!! Crazy because lots of cabins still seem to be available.

When I was a kid, I had on rain boots and got the heel stuck in a similar department store elevator. Horrible! 50-something years later I’m still a little skittish!

It’s been awhile, but last time we had a significant price drop post final payment, we got upgraded. 😍

My hubby brings me coffee in bed every morning. I frequently tease him that this has saved our marriage several times. 🤣
