Great photos. Chief, I have a simple question. For such a long cruise and stopping at so many ports, how in the world did you plan all these great tours in each port?

Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info from all contributors! Hemp, Hemp, Hooray! We have been to Trinidad / Tabasco. Once off a HAL ship many years ago. We did a 4-5 hour island tour through HAL which was not on a tour bus but in a cab, room enough for two couples. After two hours into the tour, it was so bad, how bad was it RNB, it was so bad that we paid the cab driver to take us back to the ship. He initially refused to return us early saying that he could get in trouble but we convinced him we would not tell anyone!

Wow. We were just there a few weeks ago and it was also beautiful. No wind, no clouds! But be aware if you rent a clamshell to guard it with your life. We went to have lunch, left a small bag in our lounge chair and when we returned someone had taken over our clamshell. Could I have called them squatters! 😳 Oh, by the way, to rent a clamshell in the future might require you take out a loan. I can remember when HMC opened, clamshells were either free or $9.95 for the day. Last month the rent was $49.95 for the day and in Nov 2024 the price is up to $69.95 per day! And the lounge chairs are free. What a deal!

RNB has been resting for the past couple of weeks and has seen limited action on this hear thread. But as far as the Shamble, it is a senior tournament that moves very slowly! 😀. Is that ok.

Ms Crystal. Looks like you did the same tour we did. Liked that steepest railroad track! When we arrived in Sydney, the Iraq War had just started and someone painted in red paint, Peace, not War on the roof of the Opera House!

Just off NS on 3/31/24 at Port Everglades. No specific boarding time. Just show up after noon. We had come off Celebrity Reflection on 3/24/24 and just walked our bags to the NS terminal. Arrived at 9:40 AM, able to check in bags and check in to board. Appeared all HAL agents were ready to receive passengers for checkin. Boarding started at 11 AM!

Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info. Downtown Aruba on a wet day. When we arrived by boat several years ago Aruba just had 4-6 inches of rain. I put on my snorkel gear and headed to Diamonds International; only store open!

Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info from all contributors! Louie Louie Day! I see some of you liked the song by The Kingsmen back in the ‘60s but did any of y’all understand the words! The song is about this guy who wants to get back to his girl who is across the sea so he takes a Holland America cruise ship, don’t know if it was the Rotterdam or Noordam, to get back with her. It’s obvious the ship is too slow because all he can do for three nites at sea is think of her constantly. Maybe if he had some of those HAL delicious beverages would ease his mind. He even smells the rose in her hair. Boy, when I am on a cruise ship that’s the last thing I smile. Then suddenly the ship approaches Jamaica and he soon will be back in her arms. Did anyone of y’all really understand that was the story?
